What a wonderful little restaurant! My friend and I popped in last night looking for a casual, chill place for a beer. We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem! There was two sharp dressed gentlemen playing very pleasant and calm jazz music which totally set the right mood. The restaurant itself has a wonderful atmosphere; it is romantic, intimate, yet casual and fun spirited.
We sat down at the bar for two beers on their happy hour special (2 Peruvian beers for the price of one) and were welcomed by the very friendly and attentive Julio. He made us feel very welcome and enlightened us on the menu selections, as well as the Pisco offerings. He is super knowledgeable, positive, and an absolute professional. He is a rockstar behind the bar.
The beers we had were delicious and cold, just the way you want em. We even had some maiz tostado (toasted corn kernels) which is a perfect Peruvian bar snack. We didn't eat any food but we were certainly enticed.
Great place, great service, great atmosphere; I can't wait to come back to eat some delicious Peruvian food!
Love this place! They had live music Thursday night. Lighting is comfortable as is the seating. Excellent service! Red Snapper on the bone was tasty and super fresh. The chicken was moist and flavorful. The rice and beans were fresh and so were the French fries that came with the chicken. We drew all over our table with the chalk they give you and the corn nuts are super crunchy. This is a fun place with great ambiance. We will be back!
