  1. Delicious Food and fun atmosphere.  Can't go wrong here!!

  2. The first thing that will catch your eye when you walk into this place is the collection of Bond girls that work as bartenders. They're all very attractive, very flirty, and not at all afraid to show off. Which, if you're looking to attract a male FiDi clientele, it's perfect. Or at the very least if you're looking to attract me it's perfect.

The cocktails aren't the best quality, but they do have a heavy hand.  The food is very good. I had the filet last night, which was cooked perfectly rare – nice sear on the outside, perfect dark red on the inside. The mashed potatoes are fantastic. The salad? meh. But hey, it's a steak place.

I'll definitely be back – for both the view and the food.

  3. Great restaurant.  Great service.

We went here for dinner and started out with various clams, jumbo shrimp and garlic/cheese bread.  Wow!!  What a great start!

For dinner, I had the petite fillet.  It was juicy and cooked perfectly.  I finished up with a nice scotch.

The server was great.  He didn't miss a beat.  The owner stopped by to say Hi.  She was very pleasant and nice to speak with.

    I would highly recommend.

  4. Been here a few times with customers. Steak, service and drinks are good. Wait staff has personality, always entertaining.

  5. Came here for a client meeting and it was awesome because of the foo but also the service.  We were sat in the back of the restaurant and our waiter, Mike, was awesome throughout the whole lunch.  Hilarious stories, quick and clean service as well as great timing with our courses, the whole meet was great.  I ordered the 28oz Steak Medium Rare and it came out great.  We also ordered a side of broccoli, mushrooms and mashed potatoes (with crushed red peppers) and it did not disappoint.  Would easily bring any of my clients here for another meeting.

  6. They did a good job of pushing my business out the door. I stopped here for a business dinner. As a gluten free individual, steakhouses are typically a sure thing for finding options that meet my dietary needs.

After looking at the menu, I asked the bartender if they had a gluten free menu or if they could work with me on gluten free options. After briefly walking away she returned and said nothing was gluten free. The way she said it, they seemed non-negotiable on meeting my needs, so we moved on to another location.

I was a bit disappointed; they lacked heavily on the customer service side. I'm hoping other customers have a better experience, but the service and friendliness of the staff stopped me at one cocktail and then got me walking out the door.

  7. I love this restaurant! After trying out all of the steakhouses in the area, I now call Nebraska Steakhouse my official favorite. I've been here enough times to score the coveted Duchess title on Yelp and I'm also the mayor on FourSquare.

I prefer Nebraska to the other steakhouses nearby because the setting is more intimate. The portions are huge. Mike the waiter is awesome and he'll take really good care of you. He's got a great personality. He's always cracking jokes and telling you stories. Service is excellent. Staff is always checking to make sure you've got everything you need at the table. Once Mike and the rest of the guys start to recognize you, they treat you like family.

For starters, snack on the sesame crusted bread with the oil, garlic and peppers. It's on the house but make sure you save room.

    Here are some recommendations…

    Appetizers:

French Onion Soup – I heard Michael Douglas is also a fan.

Hearts of Lettuce – Similar to an iceberg wedge salad.

Fresh Mozzarella, Basil & Tomato – Best tomatoes I've had in NYC. Beautiful produce!

Shrimp Cocktail – Gigantic shrimps. Absolutely amazing!

Filet Mignon Chili – A guilty pleasure. Big chunks of filet with kidney beans.

    Main Course:

Surf & Turf – They don't skimp over here. yelp.com/biz_photos/pm1z…

Filet – Always cooked to perfection.

Linguini al Pescatore – Shrimps, clams and lobster on white or red sauce over linguini pasta. So good you'll crave it on a regular basis.

    Sides:

    Roasted Garlic Mashed Potato

    Potato Au Gratin

    Dessert:

Tiramisu – I rarely have any room left for dessert but it is really good!

  8. The inside looks more like a narrow bar than a steakhouse, so I had my doubts about the quality of the food, but my fears evaporated when I started eating.  The surf and turf, mashed potatoes, broccoli, sweet potato mash, and potatoes au graten were a all excellent.  My only complaint is that if it's busy, it'll take a while to use a restroom.  As far as I could tell, there was only one men's room and one ladies' room on the first floor.  Not sure if there were more upstairs.
