“The burgers were so delicious, as were the sweet potato fries and the fried asparagus.”

“The fries are just ok …probably fine if you just want to sample the sauces but the onion rings are delicious and huge, plenty to share”

“I am giving it only 4 stars because of the prices 🙁 But I definitely think it is a must try, on the same playing field of Shake Shack….”

  1. Randomly strolled into this NYC Burger spot and really enjoyed it! There's so many types of these places all around the city but I was thoroughly pleased  with my burger. I got the TriBeCa and it was tasty!

Additionally – I got the basic Idaho potatoes but all the sauces they offer were amazing. Fries in basil pesto is an amazing discovery.

Nice little pop in burger place during a busy day in the city.

  2. Fairly decent burger, not amazing but not bad either. I got a regular cheeseburger and I enjoyed it quite a bit. It could maybe have used a bit more flavor. If I come back I'd get one of their specialty burgers instead of the plain jane.

The fries were pretty good and the quickest way to make me happy is give me a wide variety of unlimited dipping sauces. This makes me happy, very happy. I tried a bunch and they were all delicious, so much so I almost ordered more fries.

The drink machine is a great touch because the sheer variety makes it fantastic.

If I was in the area again I'd definitely stop back in.

  3. New York Burger Co. has been around a lot longer than a number of other fast casual burger places of late and stands the test of time (well, this location does. Not so for the Park Ave. one). The burgers are flame grilled to order and delicious. The bun is soft and the toppings are fresh. I really like the bacon, which is nice and crunchy.

I love the crazy amount of sauces they have. I don't think I can list them all, but here's a try: Burger sauce, BBQ, honey mustard, horseradish, mayo, some sort of pesto, ketchup…yea, I'm missing a few for sure.

Their Thai Salad, which comes with mangos, crispy asian noodles, cilantro, mint and a spicy peanut dressing is also very good and will save you the calories.

  4. Great burgers and service here!! Went here after one of my finals of 1st year of PT School. Joined by wifey, we indulged with two signature "skyscrapers" , sweet potato fries and asparagus fries. They were very hearty and delicious. There are multiple condiments to choose from ;the thousand island dressing goes great with the burgers. Definitely one of my favorite burgers spots in Flatiron. Plenty of seating and endless pickles.

  5. Came here with a Groupon Friday after work. The Groupon is redeemed as a credit on the restaurant's Level Up app, which is great for me since I already use Level Up and love restaurants with loyalty rewards.

The burgers were so delicious,  as were the sweet potato fries and the fried asparagus.

The burgers are reasonably priced,  and the fries big enough to share.

  6. Not a bad joint at all! I love the free access to all the delicious sauces! My favorites are the mayo pesto; the blue cheese; and the chipotle mayo!

I had the Cobb salad with grilled chicken and it was delicious!! Hubby got a burger with mushrooms and grilled onions. It was all very delicious and fresh! The young lady at the counter was very kind and helpful!
They have a pay app 🙂

  7. We came here after getting a groupon deal. From the minute we first walked in, it was a bad experience.  First of all, you have to download their app to use the groupon.  of course I didn't read the fine print when I bought it and didn't know I had to do it ahead of time.  So we made our order and I showed the cashier the groupon.  This was when she informed me that we had to download the app.   Lo and behold, there is no to little reception at this place.  I ended up standing there for a good five minutes to get a signal, gave up and had to go outside to download the app.  It finally download and we went back inside to replace our order.  The total came out to 32 dollars for 1 skyscraper, 1 regular cheeseburger, an order of fries and an soda.   That was kind of pricey for a fast food joint.   But whatever we paid and found a seat,  I then made my way to the sauce bar and proceeded to get one of each.  I admit that I do like the sauce bar, I am a big sauce girl!!! My favorite was probably basil pesto and the hubs liked chipotle honey.  The other sauces was just okay.   The burger itself was average but the buns were slightly soggy.  The fries itself was not bad but average.  But none of the food really stood out for me.  The sauces itself was probably the highlight of the meal, everything else tasted just a-ok.    In the end, I probably would not be frequenting New York Burger again especially for that price.

  8. I really can't tell. I guess I was pretty ambitious and keep adding more topping to my burger, salad and wine ending with a $30 bill at a casual fast food dine in. I can't tell nowadays if that's expensive or cheap.

Burger is good but nothing special. After exploring NYC burger scene, I can tell you this is for sure can't represent New York Burger title. I can name at leave 3 to 4 places that can top this little burger at the same price range. Their salad is fresh along with a crispy chicken which looks like freshly breaded and fried. I like their sweet potatoes which is not oily and actually healthy.

Some review said food is so so. Some said amazing food. It's really what time you pick to go. If their kitchen isn't as busy or overwhelmed, you can expect a good meal. As for the sauce, I love their honey mustard and chipotle. Deliciously unhealthy.
