This place is located in a pretty industrial part of town in Long Island City and seems to be a pretty popular place to grab food on the run.
There is not a lot of seating in the place, and you order your food at a counter, so probably don't go there planning to sit. I was working in the area and a colleague took me.
This place has a great sandwich menu. I was having a rough day from an early flight, no breakfast and working through lunch so I decided to let it go and go for the Philly cheesesteak. It was gooey and good! My colleague opted not to go for a sandwich, but instead ordered from the hot table and got a quarter chicken with fried rice. I was told that it was spot on.
Other reviews that I have read sum it up pretty well. This is a no frills place, but the food is fresh, servings sizes are good and it's good value. Cheers New York Deli!
