  1. I've been to this restaurant years ago & then twice recently. Boy am I glad they renovated! The restaurant was very dated, so the renovations give it a refreshing new look. They have a party room, which is a very nice size and that was where I was seated on both recent occasions. I'm very picky with my Italian food, coming from immigrant Italian parents, so the food isn't my favorite. I've had their Penne Vodka, which was cooked the way I like it, but the sauce was too oily for me and could've used a tad more salt. Whereas the Veal Marsala, was too salty for me, but their chicken dishes are better choices. The bread was good and the wait staff was very pleasant. They were helpful and always checked on our table and if we were in need of anything. Our drinks, water, wine and soda, were constantly being replenished without us asking. They do offer valet, in case you cannot find parking in the area. Service is great, but the food is just not for me.

  2. Nice and relatively new Italian restaurant.
Everything on Staten Island was booked solid due to the concert downtown that day, but they did find us a small table.
Food was delicious. Calamari was fresh and perfectly cooked, sauce was light. Sole Oreganata was out of this wold – melt in your mouth.
They also had Italian cheesecake for dessert special – and who can resist good Ricotta Cheesecake??
Properly chilled house wine was excellent.
The only downside was the noise level – with place packed, sound just bounced between walls and hard ceiling – perhaps some sound dampening panels would help. Almost impossible to have a conversation even across small table. It got better towards the evening as people were starting to leave, but still very, very noisy.
A lot of families with kids (and cell phones).
    Valet parking.

  3. I remember coming here since I was a kid and my family has been going since it's opening and renovation/reopening.

Fruitta di mare is one of my favorites here.  Zuppa di mussels too!
Other pasta dishes and entrees are delish.  You can't go wrong.

  4. Came on a Thursday night for my mom's birthday and there were only a few tables filled. The 3 course dinner set is a pretty good deal. Service was good, nothing exceptional, but the manager did come over to greet us, which was very nice. I'm sure the atmosphere would be very different on a crowded night. I would return once in a while.

  5. Came here for party and they had 2 diff pastas, salad, chicken, veal and fish. The space was nice n large enuf for the large party we had. The food was fine. Veal. Chicken and fish were all ok.

Wait service was good at cleaning up. We r not fans of valet parking n apparently they institute that when large events r there I'm guessing so we found at parking nearby.
