  1. Nissan, I love you! And I'm not talking about a car. There is a reason that I leave my office 4+ miles away to grab this man's chicken and rice before and above any other imposters. For all you people going gaga over Halal Guys, I've never understood the hype. They're ok, but I've had many carts outdo them, and THIS cart is the gold standard, as far as I'm concerned.

He curries his chicken, the rice is tossed with mixed vegetables, AND his jalapeno-cilantro green sauce is amazing. I get weak in the knees thinking about this Halal heaven on wheels. I get the itch at least weekly, hating that my office is all the way up here, when Nissan's cart is way down there!

I've avoided making him a page for so long because, frankly, I don't want you people crowding my food spot, but I guess I'll be generous and share this gift with everyone, since it takes me at least 25 minutes to jet down there.

Clearly, there's nowhere to sit at this food truck, but it's in an area of town with infinite outdoor seating.

White sauce, hot sauce…he even throws in a few rogue french fries just because. There's usually fresh cilantro sprinkled on top, and everything is so flavorful. This is just about the only  halal food I'll eat and the best I've ever had. No lie.

I broke my silence. Congratulations! Now you can know what I know and eat what I eat.

Tips: Don't be shy, ask for extra sauce(s) and tomatoes. He's located to the right of the "Baked Potato King" and just outside that Chase bank with all the construction out front (next to 1411 Broadway).

Gyros and lamb also outstanding! GET THE GREEN SAUCE (if you like cilantro and spice). Bless you, Nissan. My friend Nissan. mmmm
