Noches De Colombia
“For a first timer going there, I recommend their bandeja paisa which is Colombia's most well known dish.”
“A mix of Jersey Diner ( big portions, happy busily feel) has a kinship with New Orleans Creole Cuisine (not Cajun hot).”
“You have to end the meal with a cafe con leche…..it's the best around.”

I didn't really know what to expect when my boyfriend brought me here for dinner last night but it was just OKAY.
We got a meal that could seriously fill up TWO people. The portions are HUGE. We got a platter filled with fried pork, steak, beans, egg, rice and avocado.
Notes:
1. I felt like the Fried pork was hard to chew so I didn't like it and didn't eat it.
2. The beans and rice had good flavor so I definitely enjoyed that.
3. Why did my waitress seem so unhappy?
4. I think my egg would have tasted better if It was cooked over easy/slightly runny.
5. My steak was thin, pounded one too many times and thus too chewy.
I think if my service experience was a little better, I would add half a star, maybe even a whole star.
I probably won't ask to come back here but all in all, it was just okay. Nothing great but also nothing too terrible.
Family insisted we eat here during a visit. I had the grilled chicken and while it was okay, I could see the actual MSG crystals on the food. Service was okay but could be better. I'll have to give this place another try soon.
Oh…the Tres Leches is pretty darn good.
I had been wondering about the location in Englewood which is always busy & had been wanting to try it. Then a few months ago a friend who had been frequenting this location brought us here & we were very happy with the discovery. It seems there are several locations??
Have been here 2-3 times since then. It's always busy, even on week nights. Service is friendly & efficient, though the staff does tend to assume that all their clientele is Spanish speaking. Large portions, inexpensive, good Latin food, extensive menu, BYOB! Nothing much here to dislike!
They have a bread which has cheese in it……yummmyyyyy! But you'll get stuffed on this so try not to overdo it!
We've had: Arroz Con Camarones (which I really liked & had leftover for lunch the next day), Tilapia En Crema De Champinones (yum), Camarones Al Ajillo (not so impressive, a bit bland), Carne Molida (my friend's fav), Churrasco (great), Ensalada De Churrasquito Con Camarones (I also had & loved, had leftovers).
Noches de Colombia has popped up in several times in the past couple of years but this location would have to be my favorite. The servers are all very friendly and the location is big. The food is always on point! I've come here several times for breakfast lunch and dinner. I love their arepa con queso, hot chocolate, empanadas, Etc. For a first timer going there, I recommend their bandeja paisa which is Colombia's most well known dish. It's a huge portion of steak rice beans avocado chicharone arepa maduros and Fries eggs. All their dishes are good though so you can't go wrong.
Solid place for Colombian food. There are so many Noches around the area. However, this one has a pretty decent sized parking lot and seems to be a bit more consistent on the food quality.
I like coming here for breakfast sometimes, since it's something different than your usually bacon, eggs, and pancakes.
Service could be a bit slow at times, but once the order is in, the kitchen turns pretty quickly. Their pan de bono is always pretty good, and they also have different types of empanada.
Portion are also pretty unbelievable for the price point. If you're feeling monstrously hungry, I would recommend going with the bandeja paisa. It's a mountain of food and it's almost guaranteed to put you in a food coma.
Amazing place with cheap and delicious Colombian food.
This is a great place to come for a casual outing; the food is amazing, everything is very, very fairly priced, especially for what you get, and the vibe is laid-back and family-friendly. I really like their steak with calentado (a rice, bean, sauce mixture); the portion is huge, everything is fresh and delicious, and it comes with half an avocado to boot. Their empanadas are also amazing, especially with the sauce it comes with, and so are their chicharrones.
Overall, low, low prices, decent seating area, and amazing food. This place is a must-visit.
I like Colombian food, It's always delicious. Noches de Colombia does it right. I came here for the first time for some breakfast. Lemme tell you, the breakfast dish I ordered could've been dinner for a family of four. I can't remember the exact name of the dish, but it was rice, beans, pork, sweet plantains, avocado, and an arepa. Yes, dinner not breakfast. But it was breakfast, strange.
Anyways, the food was delicious. Service was slow. They could use some work in that department. The waitresses there didn't have a sense of urgency.
The restaurant is clean. Everyone speaks English so don't be shy. If I'm ever back in the area I will return.
Good food at a reasonable price!
Came here for dinner a few nights back, normally the service is good, but due to the fact I came during peak dinner time, it took a while for them to get my order in. The food is always on point and super delicious and never ordered anything that didn't settle right with my taste buds. Definitely the place to go when you're starving and want big portions for a good price.
Pretty big seating area and decent size parking, so you most likely won't run into the issue of having to wait, unless you're coming at peak hours. If you are then there will most likely be a few minute wait and parking might be a bit tight … But the food is totally worth it! Always happy to come back!
