right by the Murray Hill Long Island Railroad which was perfect because I was starving after getting off the railroad from work. I ordered the bbq beef roll and it was delicious. I ate it while walking home. they make it to order and it's fresh and tasty and still warm. the prices are decent too. $5.50 for my bbq beef roll. they have many selections too but beef is always my order.
you can always order in advance on the phone and pay for it when you get there. doesn't take long to make. they speak broken English and are very nice the two ladies.
– close to the train station. Same workers since it opened up years ago. – great rolls for decent price – must try: Princess Roll (tuna or spicy tuna, avocado, and jalapeño peppers) – $6.50
A cute little shack to get a quick fresh food fix before you hop onto the LIRR! This place has absolutely no seating and probably has enough room only to fit approximately 4-5 people standing comfortably. This place is owned by 2 Korean grandmothers who always greet you with a smile. They make the kimbahp right in front of you in a matter of minutes. The menu consists of all the traditional kimbahp choices but they always include their own mix of things. I always opt for the princess roll, which you can choose which topping you want. (Spicy tuna is the best one)! These rolls are not too thick in size so it really is meant to be eaten as a snack; unless you opt to get 2 or more rolls. Just a warning: if you get any kimbahp with peppers in it- be prepared to be welcomed with a little kick in your mouth!
