  1. Their noodles are def what you should get! Really thin and delicate.

Tom yum noodle soup – got it mild cuhs I'm not too good with spicy but mild wasn't even spicy. If recommend getting it medium. It was also surprisingly creamy for a Tom yum soup. Wished it was more tradition with heat and sourness.

Duck noodle soup – their duck is so good! Thin slices with crispy skin. Broth is light too And tastes a bit like a Chinese soup broth. Broth was sweeter too. Was hoping it'd be saltier

  2. Ehh I've had better thai but maybe because we didn't get the noodle soup dishes? although the waiter didn't seem to want to recommend them when I asked

–green chicken curry: more soupy not as thick as your usual curry, chicken was dry. You can choose rice OR noodles for this
–drunken noodles: didn't try it but my friends said the noodles were soggy and overcooked and my friend found a HAIR IN HER FOOD. they remade it right away and left her plate on the table probably to prove they were making a whole new dish
–deep fried ice cream: nice light battered crust! On the house likely due to the hair incident

NOTE: they have Happy hour with sangria!

  3. There's a reason why so many people posted pictures of the wall instead of the food. That's the only interesting thing about this place.

I ordered the $19.95 prix fixe special, which included one appetizer, one entree, and one drink.

Thai Iced Tea- It was average. Although, I've never disliked any Thai Iced Tea before.

Spring Rolls- Nothing special. The only good part was the sauce, which is the sweet chili sauce you can get at any Asian market.

Kea Mao- Dry, tasteless, lifeless noodles. Everything about it was unappetizing.

  4. This place is so delicious I had to make a second visit during my stay in NYC. I wish I could pack up the chef and move him to Indianapolis with me.

I had the drunken noodles which consists of ground shrimp, ground chicken, eggs and vegetables. I can't describe the spice all I can say is this dish is to die for. Trust, I cannot think of a place in Indy that compares.

    On another note, know that
place is small and inviting and there is always a wait to be seated. The staff is pleasant and attentive.

  5. I wanted to look for a quick dinner spot that I have not been to in Hell's Kitchen area before a show and decided on this place

Pretty good food with decent price. More about the presentation than the taste but overall the food we had were great. More on the salty side which is fine for me!!

However one thing I like about this place is the decor..its very homey and cute!

We started off with the shrimp cake, which came to my surprice that they were not in pancake form which I've always had it that way in the past! but it came in a stick with 2. They were real good and crisp! highly recommend this to start.

For main I had the roast red pork over rice. a bit too sweet for my liking but it's quite good still!

My bf had the pad see you. it was ok as well.

It's a great quick spot for a quick meal in the area but nothing really stood out to me as much. Service was great tho!

  6. This is a nice little place here in NY city as are most restaurants since space is limited. The wall of the restaurant here is interesting as they have bowls instead of pictures hanging which is something unique and unusual.

The food here is quite tasty and the portion size is just about right for what you get. They have lunch specials here each day which includes an appetizer. I had the Pad See Ew with beef as my entree and it was seasoned nicely with very good flavor. The noodles were soft and silky with a nice smooth texture. For the appetizer I chose the pork dumplings which again came in a good size for the two pieces. It was meaty and came with a soy sauce dipping. I was surprised that they didn't ask how spicy they wanted my entrée to be since most Thai places uses a lot of spices in their food.

Service here was great as they were attentive and they always kept our water glasses full. We had a fairly big party and the waitress was more than accommodating even though we were the first ones in the restaurant that morning.

Had a very good time here as I got to try something new in Manhattan and a place I wouldn't mind coming to again.

  7. Um. I love noodies. I first came here with my cousin when I was visiting and she lived in the area, and now I'm a frequent flyer all on my own.

Granted there are about 10273 Thai places pretty much right here. I don't discriminate and casually order take out from all of them on a rotating basis. But noodies is different in that I would (and have many times) actually sit down and eat in this restaurant. It's a teeny tiny little spot with the most adorable wall of colorful dishes. It's clean, comfortable, and not stuffed to the brim all the time like some others. The quality is still there and I love their spring rolls and noodle dishes especially!

It's quick but you don't feel like they're rushing you out like a lot of other places on the block. Highly recommend for a quick bite with the bf/sister/drink with a friend. Love!

  8. So one of my historical pet peeves with Thai is that you seem to get VERY SMALL portions.  Well… this confirmed it, and it was carry out, so it was even more disappointing when I got back to the hotel.  The steamed dumplings were pretty tasteless and not appealing and then when I went to open the Duck Krapaw, I looked twice.  Was that a full serving and was that like 5 little pieces of duck?  Yep, that was it.  So now I'm unhappy and still a bit hungry.  And that was $30 to feel that way.

Darned it Yelp.  I thought I could trust the NYers out there.
