This was a great cruise overall, me and my friend had a great time. So now let me break it down.
The room I booked was a simple interior with no windows. I'll admit it was small but hey I booked this cruise last minute and for 7 nights it cost us $780 total. You will have a Stewart patrolling the hall of your floor and he will cleanup up your room twice a day and make you some origami figures to. Anything you needed he was right outside the door.
Now the food is really good the best restaurant we ate in was the Palace and Azura is ok. The Garden was good for breakfast and lunch. Look out for one night where they have a chocolate feast where everything is made out of chocolate. Also there is one night they serve lobster tails. Btw it's freestyle dining so you can eat whenever you want, which I liked.
The entertainment was overall good but not the best. There were a few shows that we're pretty good and few others that were stupid but funny. Boy were there so many karaoke events going on, so if you are into that this is your cruise. They also had a hypnotist who hypnotized random people in the audience and made them do stupid stuff. Not sure if its real but still funny to watch.
I would do another cruise with Norweigen, but I would like to try another one.
There was really nothing unique about this cruise ship at all.
Cons:
Room was small, and you DON'T get chocolates every night on your bed at all, compared to other cruise lines.
There was excessive nickle and diming almost everywhere.
Food was subpar in the Garden Cafe, and was probably made that way so you could PAY to eat at the specialty restaurants. There was also only one side of seating in the Cafe as well, thus making the possibility of finding a seat almost impossible.
The main dining room was noisy, due to the guys singing with their guitars in really high decibels!
Some of the staff people on-board were really rude.
The drink menus were limited, and some of those drinks were clearly watered down.
Why this ship gets the extra star:
Room steward was nice, and my waiter at the restaurant had a good attitude.
The chocolate martini that I had on this ship was very tasty (look for my picture of this drink here).
The shows on board were entertaining.
The creamy tomato soup at the Blue Lagoon Cafe was delicious.
At least the Florida and Bahamas itinerary that we went on for this trip was okay, but that's about it overall.
