  1. Super nice sandwich place. It's Cambodian sandwiches here which I find very similar to vietnamese banh mi. It has the pickled carrots, cilantro, Hoisin sauce ( seafood sauce) and siracha. I ordered the five spice pork belly sandwich and my friend ordered the coconut shrimp. The pork belly was amazing. The pork was marinated very well and it just melts in your mouth. The coconut shrimp was great as well. It had a very nice sweet coconut flavor. The only thing I'd say bad about this place is the size of the sandwich. They are all just 6 inches and not too cheap. It's about 8-10 a sandwich. I means it's reasonable since it's located in the financial district but it wasn't too filling. The staff there was very amiable and explained everything about the sandwiches.

  2. Really tasty Asian fusion sandwiches. I had the pork belly which they served with a huge portion of pork. I will definitely be back to try their other delicious looking options

  3. Ordered thru Seamless and we thought the experience was going to be pleasant. I order the grilled chicken sandwich in the Cambodian style that they offered in the menu. I was very specific with the notes saying "All sauces on the side including the mayo" "Please don't put anything spicy" "no cilantro"…I thought they knew how to follow commands in the comments before processing the order.

When my husband went to pick up the order, they told him that they didn't have cookies and we should replace it for chips. I didn't want chips, I wanted the oatmeal cookie! Besides that they were helpful about calling for refund which it was fine.

The real deal breaker was when he came home, and I was going to eat my sandwich. When I opened it the sauce was spread in the bread! Wth? They put cilantro and the salad was old, not fresh and weird.

I'm giving them 1 star because the food was terrible, they staff at the store was helpful, but I'm still waiting for Seamless to reply back to me which a solution for my money back, since I explained them my whole experience and they offered to help and they knew I was right. It has been about two weeks already. I would never eat there again.

  4. I love this spot for a delicious banh mi lunch! I get the same one every time (I'm vegetarian), and though I should probably try to the tofu one, I'm addicted to the cauliflower banh mi! It's cooked to a great consistency, the serving of cilantro is generous (yay!), and the vegetable toppings and sauce are tasty. Get there before 12:30 to beat the line-out-the-door lunch crowd during the week. The shop is small, but the line and orders move quickly. There are a couple of bar seats at the window, but it's generally best to take and go eat outside somewhere, especially if it's a nice summer day. The blood orange lemonade is good, but it (and other drinks) are a bit pricey, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend that if you're on a budget. But $8 for a sandwich and bringing your own snacks and drink to work makes for a complete lunch!

  5. I was super excited when this spot opened up just a few blocks from my FiDi office! In the past there hasn't been much more than a Prett or a Cosi, so this is amazing variation for the area.

I just came back from trying my first sandwich here- I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and honestly, to. Die. For. The woman at the register was extremely sweet and helpful as I was trying to decide between like, 8 different items. Her recommendation was so spot on! Prob the most delicious bread I've ever had, and they are v. generous with the meat. I went a little before 2 so the line wasn't bad and I only waited about 3 minutes for my sandwich. Will DEFINITELY be going back to try more!

  6. A bona fide NYC local turned me onto this place, and they hooked me up, so I'm more than satisfied. The ingredients all seemed fresh and great quality.

I know a lot of the reviews have complaints about the portion size; I had the khmer sausage sandwich, and I felt like it was filling enough to make for a good lunch-time meal. It's not big, but it's certainly adequate.

  7. The shrimp sandwich was definitely good but I'm going to downgrade it from 4 stars since it's a bit pricey and on the small side for $12. The shrimp was fresh and had great flavor from the coconut that tasted almost like a peanut satay sauce. They ran out of pork belly so we replaced it with brisket. It was a very large piece of brisket but came out very dry. I've had the brisket at other locations so it might've just been that I got these sandwiches around closing time. Otherwise, these are good sandwiches… Not sure where the Cambodian part comes into play since they taste like modernized, hipster-fied Vietnamese bahn mis. I'd get them occasionally when I'm craving it and need a bahn mi fix in the area.

  8. I'm completely digging Num Pang's this place is fire!!!  All the ingredients taste fresh and everything is put together quickly and artfully.  I've only been here twice and have had the pulled pork sandwich with the blood orange lemonade.  The pork has the right amount of tenderness/juiciness, chili mayo loveliness with a little fresh cilantro, carrots and cucumbers on a baguette.  It's a little piece of perfection as far as I am concerned.  The sandwich doesn't look like much, but I find it to be pretty filling.  I also like that although the line can be long, they move everybody through pretty quickly and my order comes out super fast.  What I find to be a bummer is that the seating is very limited.  If you are looking for a place to sit down and grab something to eat it's going to be tough to do that here, and you'd probably have to do it alone, forget bringing a friend.  Other things would be that this is pretty pricey for what looks like a relatively small sandwich.  I get that the ingredients are fresh, but the amount you are getting and what you are paying doesn't really equal out.  Last, but not least-the no substitutions rule.  I am someone who doesn't mind this, I can eat food generally as is, however there are other people with dietary restrictions, allergies, religious restrictions etc.  By doing that you are narrowing your customer pool.  Just some food for thought (see what I did there).  Regardless I do really like this place and will be back for lunch again.  Maybe will try something new next time!!
