  1. Not too busy on a sunday afternoon!
Came here for a hangover cure instead of the usual pho! Well-worth my time and drive!

  2. I first came here 5 years ago and I HATED the food.  After being told that the owners have changed, I decided to give it a try.  I wish that I came back here before!

    What we ordered:
Mangchi (Hammer) Jjajjangmyun — I definitely recommend this!
    Beef Ganjjajjangmyun
    Jjambong
    Seafood Jjambong
Sweet rice sweet and sour pork (tang soo yook) — and I highly recommend this..

Both jjambongs were not hell fire spicy.  They were pretty tasty!  The beef ganjjajjangmyun was okay.  It had A LOT of onion and it wasn't cooked all the way through and I had to pour hot pepper flakes over it.  I wish I ordered the Hammer jjajjangmyun! It's topped with something like a deep fried tortilla and the jjajjangmyun had a good kick.  Surprisingly, it's was paired really well.

The sweet and sour pork was crispy but the sweet rice made it really chewy on the inside.  It's different from the others.  I recommend that you don't pour the sauce over it and just use it as a dip.  Otherwise you won't get that crispy and chewy combo.  Trust me, you won't regret it!

As for the parking situation, the parking lot is pretty small and it's shared with other businesses.  If you can't find any parking, just park on the street.  Going towards the residential area (north of Northern Blvd.), you're going to have a hard time since this place is near the LIRR.  You just need a little bit of patience!  If you're there after 7PM, just park right on Northern since you don't have to pay for the meter.
