  1. We walked around the block to choose a good Korean BBQ. This was the best smelling place. But there was a reason for that.

The waitress was extremely sweet and attentive: she cut the meat for kids we were with; when we ran out of sauces, she ran to get more without being asked; she refilled our water and got us multiple refills of our favorite banchan. She even taught us a few Korean words.

The eel, short ribs and pork belly were perfectly roasted over layers of coals. Sweet, smokey, fresh eel was perfect in the sesame oil and garlic sauce. The short ribs was tender, juicy and addictive; much better than the rib eye steak. (Perhaps due to the rib eye being roasted longer, cut in chunks and re roasted. The Koreans are keen with preparing the meat to a well done consistency). And pork plus fire and pork fat is the simplest recipe for making my stomach and mouth happy.

The caveat about this location was poor ventilation, leading to smokey clothes, and smoke filled room. The walls and ceiling were stained from the smoke.
Other than that, I will be back.
