  1. Service is hit or miss. Food is decent. Prices are above average. All breakfast is cooked to order. Free muffins are hit or miss also. Decent diner but only street parking.

  2. I had this diner on my "wish list" for some time now. I was finally able to bring my greedy ass after church service! I am a man on a mission and all I can think about  was fluffy and tender french toast! My mission was complete! It was served with a side of bacon and I also ordered a corn muffin. The place was packed. Looks like a busy time of day. Overall I will be making another visit. Possibly become a regular since it's in my area.

  3. Walked in here right after landing at JFK at about 8am on a Wednesday. Place wasn't too packed so my party of three was sat quickly. Our server was very nice and sweet. She quickly brought us coffee and OJ. I ordered the eggs with a side of corned beef hash. Others at my table ordered the simple two eggs and potatoes.

Our food came out quickly but I wasn't a huge fan of the corned beef. I don't know if it was me, or if it was the food. My eggs were just fine and the potatoes were great too. My dad (who is a chef) said the corned beef was canned which is probably why it wasn't so great. I don't know for sure.

Either way the experience here was good and the cashier in the front even gave me a free cookie. Which was awesome when I started my drive to PA right after.

  4. As soon as I entered, I got the old school NY diner feel and it was nostalgic.  The host immediately welcomed me.  She sat me down, provided me a menu and asked me if I would like coffee or tea. I of course asked for coffee.

Right off the bat the service was phenomenal, welcoming and made me feel comfortable.  I love that type of service!

The waitress came and took my order.  I asked for eggs Benedict without bacon and to substitute turkey sausage in stead.

She took my order and while I waited another gentleman came with a glass of water and complimentary mini muffins.  Can it get any better with the service?

The eggs bene was okay.  Coffee is bold, I like that.  Home fries also just okay but I'm not big on them anyways. The mini muffins were dry but who cares their free lol

So the food is a 3.5 out of 5 but the service is a 10! I will come back to try more.

  5. I love this diner. Great burgers, fries, gyro platters and wraps. I went out of my comfort zone and ordered a reuben. I wasn't impressed, but I wasn't upset either. I have been here at least 4 times. I always give it a 5 star, except this last time. But my friends enjoyed it….so the 5 star remains. ENJOY 🙂

    PS: SUPER AWESOME STAFF

  6. Oasis is a great neighborhood spot to go for breakfast/lunch. The staff is always friendly and they are quick to take and bring our your order.
I ordered an egg white omelette with peppers & onions with a side of sausage and french fries. The serving is huge, a decent price. My boyfriend had the spinach florentine wrap with home fries which he enjoyed. I love this place for breakfast.

  7. I can easily describe this place in just 2 words: EATING GOOD!
It is not easy to find a diner that has 5 star quality food especially on busy days such as Saturdays. When I came here for a late breakfast , I got seated at a booth right away ,& the owner who greeted us was very friendly. I liked how breakfast was served all day, and the amount of wraps, sandwiches, burgers and omelettes to pancake platters are just endless.
the waiter I had was very knowledgeable about the menu, he was friendly and served us very fast. I was able to substitute regular sausage for turkey sausage for just 1.25, and egg whites for 1.25 which is pretty reasonable. I like how healthy my food was , the home fries weren't greasy, my omelet was a good portion with feta cheese and green peppers, the turkey sausage was thick which is awesome and the amount of coffee refills with skim milk were unlimited. the whole wheat toast they gave me was the size of my head!
the western omelet that my boyfriend had was also very large and filling, he enjoyed his thick hot chocolate too.
I love how we didn't feel rushed when we ate , and the waiter always checked on us to see how we were doing.
street parking was also not too bad in the area considering it was a busy weekend.
I cant wait to come back here to try the rest of the menu!
for a huge breakfast for 2, we paid 30 dollars which is very reasonable.

  8. 3.5 stars

Although it's in my neck of the woods I don't come here often, but when I do I almost always have an enjoyable experience.

I have enjoyed breakfast/brunch and dinner here. Both meals and service were pretty good. I love the environment and how homey and diner-ish it feels. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food is slightly better than what you would expect out of a typical diner.

The pricing is cheap and the area it is located in attracts many in the neighborhood which is a good thing. You can tell the restaurant is owned by good people whose main priority is to give you good food and good service. Definitely try this place out if you're ever in the area.
