  1. A very nice visit. Had the spicy lemon shrimp for appetizer. Was not to tasty for me. Lemon and spicy was not a good combo for me. The Mediterranean shrimp scampi was very very tasty. That I liked. Though it had only 8 shrimp. It was tasty.
The waitress was very attentive and nice. Service with a smile

A nice visit it was. Always nice to return

  2. I don't care if it's not "authentic" I do enjoy most the dishes I have had at the OG and I like that it comes with salad and good breadsticks. This location does seem a little hit or miss in terms of service (mostly miss). I know when it's crowded, a server can get stretched thin, but I still want basic things like silverware when the salad comes and if I put an empty glass at the edge of the table, I enjoy refills some time after that. The food took forever to come out after the soup/salad. I almost wish I had ordered more salad, if there was any chance I'd seen the waiter at some point.

Now it's been a while since I've come, but they've added those tableside app devices that I've seen at Chili's. Honestly, I don't see the point. Not only do you have adds constantly flashing at you (I'm not going to play a games for $1.99 in the time before my food comes) but it doesn't seem to have any function. It didn't seem to display the menu but just a rotation of a few images and the "call server" button took so long I suspect it was just our waiter making rounds and not that that button transfers a signal anywhere. Not like the flashing red light signaled anyone walking by to stop either. I guess you can pay with the credit card at the end of the meal, but how much effort is that REALLY saving a patron vs. handing the card to the server? Is it more secure? Just there to save 2 minutes?

I generally like the look of an Olive Garden but those devices are really out of place and basically add nothing (for me at least). I can imaging having children makes these more annoying if they want to play on it and you have no way to turn it off or put it away. Don't whore yourself out to ziosk, OG. It's not worth it.

Even though meals cost $15-20 portions are usually huge and stretch out to 2 meals. It's also likely to be more crowded through the rest of the Christmas shopping season since it's near the mall, but this place was lacking a bit in service and speed. It's a much better experience on an off time, which isn't a great thing to say about a restaurant.

  3. Driving at night, needed dinner, were quickly seated and served in a reasonable amount of time. You get what you pay for, and for $10 per person table service with unlimited soup/salad and "fresh" pasta is a good deal in 2016. It isn't gourmet or "home made" food, but they don't charge custom prices! We did note that the take-out containers we received for our remaining pasta weren't the ones we've historically been given at other Olive Garden's, instead they had "vents" in the lids which is too bad, because we do try to be "green" and reuse plastic containers to store things, but with holes in the top they are effectively defective on arrival. But hey, when the biggest complaint about a joint is their take-out containers, what's to complain about!

  4. Unexpectedly came here for lunch around 1130AM. it's been a long time since I have eaten at the Olive Garden and it was pretty good. Fresh breadsticks, nice salad and good chicken parm. Mussels and pasta that accompanied my dish were not awesome but cool. Bill was about 35.00 total and overall I was pleased. Who knows when I will go back but it was a nice local to do ! Only issue during this time is when the senior communities come out by the bus load so be prepared to hold a door or two!!

Try an old place you haven't been for a while you maybe surprised !

  5. For a chain I like it here. Chicken and dumpling soup was very tasty and spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs was fantastic. Unlimited salad and bread sticks make it even better. Is it gourmet NO but for a quick tasty meal reasonably priced it's perfect.

  6. Came here for lunch with my family on Saturday afternoon..  Not too busy at all, and I was hoping for quick service…  Well, our order was taken quickly, but that's where the quickness ended…  after getting our drinks, our server took a leave of absence and was nowhere to be found…  After about 15ish minutes, most of our food was brought out..  My son ordered the unlimited pasta, with side soup, my other son, a kids meal, and both my wife and I, the unlimited soup and salad.  No pasta for my son at this point, just his soup was served…. Which is ok… But another disappearing act happened, and we sat there with empty bowls of soup and salad…  Finally, our server came with my sons pasta, and asked if my wife and I would like another soup and salad… YES Please!!  So, 10 or so minutes passed, we got our refills…  at this point, my sons pasta is empty (and empty for a short while), we finally asked another server for a bowl of pasta.

All in all, the food was yummy and served hot… Salad was very good and had plenty of salad fixin's in it.. You can't beat the price for the amount of food you get, but damn…. You need to have your servers on point… It's not busy at all.  If you work for tips, you really need to step up your game.  However, our server was very nice and courteous (when she was helping).  I don't expect 5-star type service at a chain restaurant, but I do expect better than what I received…

  7. Had lunch with my family here today. Started off ok and went downhill quick. We sat for about 15 minutes before they finally brought us breadsticks and salad. Service was awful. No drink refills. The best was my son ordered the unlimited pasta special they're having.. When he ordered a second bowl they brought him a child sized bowl of it and told me we didn't order the unlimited but they'll give us this tiny plate anyway. Gee thanks… Awful service. The food was good as usual but the lack of good service prevented us from enjoying our meal.
