  1. Today was a organized event to celebrate my boss departure. He wanted to go to his favorite spot The Olive Garden. It was my first time and unfortunately probably my last. So armed with 25 Co-Workers we organized at the front door. This place is beautiful and very clean. Pleasant visuals and impeccable staff are what you first notice when you enter the doors. We all waited in the foyer for our table to be ready. They gave us a private reserved table in the back. First issue was they put menus on the table. What are you talking about Evan I bet your saying right now. Well it's normal but they put out the wrong menu. Instead of the wonderful choice I like on the original menu, they gave us a menu with only five choices. None really stood out and none of the choices I wanted but I went with the Eggplant Parmigiana because I'm not a pasta guy. Before our meals came out the waiters had issue with putting food out and bringing the right orders. I know it was 25 people so I'm not holding that against them. When my food came to the table I tried it. I'm sorry to say I didn't like the Eggplant at all. It was bland and had no noticeable flavors that stood out. I only ate a small portion and left the rest. I left still feeling hungry and not feeling satisfied at all. I'm pretty sure if I come here again it's for another farewell party that someone other then myself picked.

  2. I came here on fathers day for a brunch with my dad and sister. He wanted to go to olive garden. Olive garden has a bad sigma for having low quality italian food which i completely understand that it is not legit italian food. However, my waiter was elvin or elmer and he was so nice and sweet. He was extremely attentive and was a great waiter. The food was mediocre but my service was great. Would i return? If there was no other option. Yes?

  3. Unlimited salad, unlimited salted and olive oil bread sticks?

During my long haul relationship with my former love I would often patronize this Westbury Olive Garden with him and his family for dinner.  I love their pasta.  This location is large in size and their foyer waiting area is quite large without the feeling of being crowded especially on a very busy Friday night.  Service is snail turtle slow.  Like most businesses of Long Island private parking lot is available.  I love their Marinara pasta sauce and their jumbo shrimp with pasta.  Mass produced food as Olive Garden have numerous locations throughout the U.S. and this location is a typical cookie cutter, no different Italian than your local Mom and Papa operated restaurant.

  4. KHAALIQ!!!! This is the most incredibly genuine and adorable server/waiter that I've ever met! I mean honestly, to have him alone was with it.

Look, it's mass produced stuff. BUT, I was pleasantly surprised by the chicken gnocchi soup (aka creamed chicken with potatoes). Not amazing, but serviceable. The garlic Rosemary chicken though was a pleasant surprise! Very flavourful, plenty of Rosemary and the mash was silky smooth. The chicken was quite good and juicy. If definitely order it again… But please, do Khaaliq a solid. Swing buy, order the chicken, and walk out full, happy, and like you were treated at a fine dining establishment!!

I mean, we were only halfway done with our drinks and he already had refills ready and waiting and delivered them. No questions asked! Ahhhh so brilliant! Definitely deserved the large tip!

  5. Food was the standard pasta with unlimited salad and breadsticks. Service was efficient. We paid via the machine at the table.

Dont order the Calamari appetizer. For $10.49, its an embarrassment to the "Italian" theme olive garden has. The pieces looked like they were cut from tiny baby squid and the portion was too small to be a $10.49 dish. The sauce is just pizza sauce and isn't tasty. There are mom and pop shops that serve double and triple the amount for calamari for the same price. NEVER AGAIN!

I will not be coming again.

  6. Its Olive Garden. The unlimited salad and breadsticks are sinful, but honestly add value to me vs other chain restaurants. You get more bang for your buck! The food is always tasty to me, and the service at this particular location was great. I had a frozen margarita and it was on point! No wait on a Sunday evening which is nice. The kids meal is huge, gave me enough spaghetti for two more meals for my little.

  7. It's merely okay. Me and my friend were hungry and decided on Olive Garden because we were already close by. The wait was maybe 5-10 minutes. It was a bit busy. Our waiter was pretty good, but seemed a bit overwhelmed. The service was pretty good, but a bit slow. Everyone seemed to get their food order before we did, though they got seated after we did. We got our bread steaks halfway through our meal. The calamari were cut extremely small.

  8. I definitely don't expect a gourmet Italian meal like Del Posto, so I have decent experiences typically – my expectations are appropriately set.

This was really one of the worst experiences I've had it took an hour to get our meal, all the tables around us were complaining as well.

My waitress and the manager were nice enough, but they were definitely understaffed, and this is not a new location. Pretty unacceptable, I feel.

The new location at Queens Center Mall actually has better service. I'll stick to that.
