Good, NYC style slice of pizza. Ordered a Hawaiian and a plain pie for delivery. Delivery guy came quicker than the 45 minutes they said it would take. But he did fail to follow my request to call the provided number when he arrived since I wouldn't be able to hear the doorbell from the basement. Pizza was pretty good overall. Also got some pretty good mozzarella sticks. I loved the cheese fries. They don't use cheese sauce here, but they do add sliced cheese in layers, so that every fry has cheese, not the ones on top. Fries were cut thick and they came hot. I would definitely order from here again.
Have to try new pizza places when they pop up and this one has been on my radar for a while. Ordering on the phone wasn't bad, the person on the other end was rather polite. I arrived and the order was ready which is another huge plus. I ordered a pizza and a stromboli. The pizza was really good and the stromboil was as well. I would definitely order from this place again, and perhaps try their regular pizza as I got a specialty pie. I had something called the Al Greco which had arugala, parmesan and prosicutto. All three great things by themselves and not overpowering at all on a pie apparently.
I would probably have given this place five stars, but I had two major problems. It's a Friday night and you have a huge display case with only two specialty pies?!?! What if I saw a slice I wanted to try and now I can't? Secondly, the floor was absolutely filthy. I'm not talking about the salt from the recent snow storm, I can definitely understand that. However, tables not wiped down, straw wrappers on the floor, etc. I used to work for a major coffee company and if my boss saw that while I was sitting on my rear end for a break, I would have been read the riot act forward and backwards.
