  1. I always come here for Thanksgiving and I'm thankful that they are always open on Thanksgiving.  They are usually busy to the point that last year, the line extended outside of the store.  All their items are good; I like sweet potatoes and apple pie the best and my mom loves their cornbread.
The food server I had yesterday was good and nice to us, but she wasn't pleasant to her co workers.  She claimed she put something on the counter and when someone took it, she freaked out complaining and whining to herself who would so that?  I didn't say anything cause I was freaked by how mad she was!  It was a very dramatic scene.  I just felt that she could've calm down or do it when I'm not there.  Again, she was a great server, however she should kept cool cause "of you can't handle the heat, then stay out of the kitchen".

  2. Reviewing chain restaurants in a positive light has become near next to impossible. Staffers are typically over worked, under paid resulting in low employee morale resulting in high turnover resulting in training new employees resulting in slow processing of orders and so goes the cycle.

I've had the Chicken Carver something sandwich previously but my memory of it is vague so I decided to stop in to try the individual Beef Brisket meal.

NOTE: The Beef Brisket has been discontinued. This was brought to my attention two hours after the posting of this review by Boston Market corporate. The idea that a meal can be consumed one day and reviewed another day was a point of contention to them and I do not intend to post incorrect information. Thanks for pointing out my error in such a expeditious manner, if only….. I digress.

The strips were quite chewy and were doing the back stroke in brown gravy when I popped open the heavy plastic steamed lid.
My two sides consisted of the mac & cheese and mashed potatoes which were accompanied by a yoga mat textured bun of  corn bread.

The flavor of all of the options were pronounced and quite intensely noticeable for every, almost too flavorful. Then I began to wonder… Perhaps some flavor modification was at work because no matter my efforts at home, where I cook everyday, I can't squeeze out a fraction of their flavor using natural, store bought ingredients. Why is that?

  3. Compared to other reviews, I didn't think the food quality was bad, nor was the service poor.

I have never been to a Boston Market, but I was definitely craving that homecooked comfort food – and chicken, two of the things that BM is able to provide its customers.  The place looked clean, the food was still fresh, and the workers were so nice.

Coming in around 9:30ish (their kitchen closes at 10pm), I ordered the quarter white platter – they threw in an extra because they simply had too much (bonus!).  Then decided that they would only charge us $5 for both platters and full price for the drink so $7.99 for both meals.  Wow, now that's amazing.

That's why I give this place 5 stars – refillable drinks (they have tea too!  to be healthier I guess haha) , great tasting chicken, awesome cream of spinach, fluffy mashed potatoes, and delightful mac and cheese.

  4. I like Boston Market food but damn they gotta hire some new people that could count. The line here moves so dang slow even when it's not even that busy. There's like a 80 year old man that takes forever with everyone's orders and by the time I get to register, it takes another loser to count my money and give back my change.

Food – Rotisserie chicken with mac n cheese and creamed spinach! Delicious but still a rip off.

Drinks – Skip it, go next door to a Rite Aid or convenience store and get yourself a larger drink for a lesser cost.

Verdict – I really do like the food but the service here is horrible. Please hire someone with quick hands and feet to get the line moving!

  5. I'm definitely not a fan of Boston Market. I've only tried it once at this particular location. The sides taste like reheated prepared food that's been sitting outside for a while. I'd rather eat rotisserie chicken from a Peruvian restaurant or even one from a supermarket than waste money here.
Boston Market is not healthy, it's highly processed food, check the nutritional labels. Eating here is no different then buying prepared processed food from the supermarket.

  6. Can get super busy and super crowded, and while that can be annoying, especially around the holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas, the line can kind of be out the door!), I really appreciate their high turnover volume for food. I don't like food sitting around for hours and hours. Also, the line moves fast enough, because workers hustle and bustle. No idle behavior here! And the cashiers are always friendly and accommodating — I often ask for extra bags to transport the many sides I get.

    Food highlights —
    Corn bread
    Mashed potatoes
LOVE the roasted red potatoes with dill
Mac and cheese (not gobby with cheese, more of a sauce)

    Lows:
Once got the mixed veggies of string beans, carrots, and squash, and they were so overcooked, they probably lacked any nutrition. Not to mention super salty

Once I didn't get any cornbread for my family meal, and I asked the guy for some. I guess he didn't remember I had a family meal for 6, but he only gave me one piece. But it was too crowded to flag him down again for more, or try to talk over the noise/line of people.

    ***Also readily accept coupons.

  7. Comfort food? Of course I'll give this place five stars. I've never encountered a Boston market that didn't serve quality food. I order, pay, go home to eat and I'm happy.

Satisfaction at its best. Lines move swiftly when you know what you want. The only time I've experienced a wait is when customers are up next and they stutter and stumble with making a decision on what to eat.

I always get the half dark with any two of these sides: creamed spinach, loaded mashed potatoes, garlic dill new potatoes or the fresh vegetable stuffing.

  8. I was never a big fan of Boston Market but the last time I came here I really enjoyed their ribs. I was with my mom and aunt and we all ordered some dinner to go. There was a long line like it usually is at this location but the lines do move quick.

I believe I had the big platter for around $13 (I think) that came with two sides and I ordered the fully loaded mash potatoes that were slamming and the mixed vegetables. I was shocked how good my ribs were and remembered licking my fingers. LOL My mom and aunt had the chicken and two sides and they enjoyed their meal.

I really need to check out Boston Market again and see if their other menu items are just as enjoyable as those ribs.
