Great Bushwick juice bar and gathering place. Owl Juice Pub may have the pricey green juices you've come to associate with Brooklyn gentrification, but it lacks the pretension and complete lack of awareness you might find elsewhere. Owl Juice Pub is a great place to hang out in, super comfy and no one pushes you to move along outside your own pace (but please, its not nice to sit for hours on your laptop when people are trying to find a space to eat and drink, go home).
Smoothies and juices are priced at the average- $6-$8, but I don't like that they sneak in an upcharge if you want almond or soy milk in your smoothie. At most healthy places (where you're blending in a veggie, not just a bunch of sugar) these days nut milk is the standard for smoothies, so I think charging extra for it is kind of lame. On the other hand, I feel like the food here is really reasonably price and pretty affordable. Great sandwiches, salads, bagels etc.
