Tried this food truck for lunch today. I use to frequent the one on Broadway and Duane. I ordered the combination rice platter with lamb, chicken, rice, salad, white yogurt sauce and side of falafel with 1 can of soda. It was $7. Can't beat it. In comparison to the other cart guy this one is less spicy and the portions of meat are much smaller. It also didn't upset my stomach. Sometimes the spiciness of the competitor just doesn't sit well with me. Although the portion of meat was less than what I am use to the quality was better. I find the other food truck just throws every part of the chicken into his mix. Sometimes you encounter some fat or distasteful parts. This vendor was pretty clean and the meat was genuine. I would definitely order from here again and maybe get a side of spicy sauce to add a small kick.
