I love Panera. That asiago cheese bagel is amazing. I order it every time I visit. Also the four cheese soufflé is incredible. I've been to this location and experienced good service and food. No complaints. However Something is left to be desired. Not sure what it is yet.
Overall good experience.
Everytime i come here it takes me a good half hour to decide what i want since there is so many good options ! Their three cheese asiago bagel with chives cream cheese so good, i want to try all their bagels!! And their tomato soup was delicious, very thick and creamy filled with flavor. I also loved their mac and cheese with panini sandwhiches, always hot and fresh. They also have amazing iced teas and lemonades 🙂 this is the only place i bother eating at in kings plaza . This place has plenty of seats and booths for larger groups or a table of four, but individual seating is tough especially on the weekends its alwats packed so beware D:
I'm a big fan of Panera Bread….to me, every location has the same food. This location is clean and the service is good and fast. Definitely a GREAT addition the KP mall.
SO much room in here!
This location's staff definitely goes out of their way. Recently I ordered a salad with dressing on the side, but a new trainee put it on top. The trainer acknowledged it, offered to make a new salad, and then threw in almost an entire loaf of bread, apples, and chips. I couldn't stop smiling all day.
Fun plus: you can see when your bus is coming through the giant windows.
I love the Panera Bread here. It is located on the corner of Avenue U right next to Best Buy on the face of Kings Plaza.
The other ones I have been to in Brooklyn were not that great. I typically get the Roasted Turkey BLT sandwich and most other places always give me a crispy burnt up bacon, but not this location.
It is clean, the staff are friendly and the food is always fresh. I love the smoothies! Perfect compliment to my meal and great pick me up for energy. I got a chili soup for my coworker who was under the weather and she raved about it. It smelled so good and fresh as well.
I always ask for an extra pickle to compliment my meal and they sometimes forget so be sure to make sure you have everything in your order before you leave. Other than that, i really enjoy coming to this Panera location. Really glad there is one in my neighborhood!
Panera! What's there not to love? Friendly staff we are helpful and willing to accommodate my picky needs. The store is clean and I hope that another location opens up in Brooklyn soon.
Veryyyy quiet on a recent Saturday morning (which was excellent) but sadly there were very few bagels left in the baskets behind the counter. Either they had a mad rush right before I walked in or they hadn't made that many bagels yet?
The staffer who took my order wasn't overly friendly but wasn't mean either. And she moved smoothly and quickly. The restaurant was clean and there's plenty of seating options (booths, tables for 2, etc) to choose from.
Despite the lack of options for bagels I was able to pick out one for breakfast as well as a couple to bring home. FYI – the Cinnamon Crunch bagel is ridiculous! Get it toasted with Hazelnut Cream Cheese! AH – so good! The French Toast bagel is sad in comparison… it was about half the size of the rest of the bagels and lacked any real french toasty flavor. Skip it and order a Cinnamon Crunch!
Came into a near empty store at 11:35 on a Sunday morning. I was very excited to see that they still had 6 souffles because those usually go like hotcakes. I stood patiently at the register for 5 minutes before one of the 4 ladies behind actually bothered to come over. I asked what the steak and egg sandwich was served on to which the girl responded, "Breakfast is over." OK. "Just give me 2, 4 cheese souffles and 2 teas please." She rings me up and as she takes my card to charge me, another woman, maybe the manager walks behind her and says, "Did you turn your tags to lunch?" The cashier does not respond. Instead she asks her for 2 souffles. The woman responds, "We don't have any. I just threw them away. I didn't know anybody wanted them." Really? Panera just throws out breakfast items? Never again. Too much starvation in this country and the world. Also, what kind of manager doesn't check with her staff before getting rid of inventory? Ugh. Well, I've never worked in the food service industry so this may be standard.
Additionally, this place is always out of whole milk, the coffee runs out and someone has to alert them to change it. Sigh. Really? You have a Panera craving and don't mind the fact that they shamelessly toss food? Head over to the Gateway location.
