I eat here a lot for lunch because it's close to my job. It gets very crowded around lunch time, and sometimes there are no seats. However, the staff does their best to provide prompt and attentive service. The place is always clean and the daytime manager is really nice. I feel like Panera is so over-priced for what it is. A salad and a small drink will cost you over $10. Their new rewards program will get you some free stuff and discounts here & there. It's a good place to grab a quick bite if you're in a pinch, just nothing special about it.
I'm only reviewing this particular Panera for the service.
I usually love Panera.
Here, though, the servers look and act like they're still in high school, just trying to make a couple of extra bucks for their shopping trips at Claire's and assorted stores at the infamous Staten Island mall.
As I peruse the menu carefully to figure out what I want, the girl asks me every 1.5 seconds, "do you know what you want?"
No. That's why I'm not making eye contact with you. If I knew, I would order. In fact, that is what people usually do when they wish to purchase an item on a menu. They order.
Then my friend waited for a long time for her order to come out. So she asks the lady behind the counter about it. The lady doesn't acknowledge her, unless by grumbling and rolling her eyes she really means "yes, your order will be right out, thank you ma'am."
Long wait at lunch time and they were out of the stuff they needed for my favorite panini. It's jam packed and hard to get a seat. Panera is Panera. This one did not seem overly good/bad or different compared to other ones.
I'm definitely a fan of Panera in general. However, at this location the service can be very slow. I come here for the Cobb salad. I ask for the BBQ ranch dressing and feta cheese instead of the cheese and dressing it comes with. It's large and tasty. The green tea is also good. I liked the sierra turkey sandwich till I actually looked at the number of calories. Their chicken noodle soup is not that great. However the broccoli is good!
5 stars for food 3 stars for service. The girls are not friendly behind the counter.
Been here once and my first time nice clean place but the sandwiches are super super small. Even thought the portions not that big the bread is so soft and yumm!
Love this panera breakfast is always good they always make my latte right and the manager Taya always says hello and knows me by name. Shes the best! Place is clean and run smoothly when shes there.
