Panera Bread is a good chain restaurant for a quick sandwich or salad. I really like their half and half combo where you can choose two items out of a cup of soup, a salad, and a half of a sandwich or flat bread. Their soups are really good. I love the tomato soup and the broccoli and cheddar soup. I also like their greek salad and all of the warm flat breads. We come here all the time on our lunch break and the service is pretty fast. This place is really big, clean, and it has a lot of great menu options. I also like that they tell you the calories for everything. It's a little pricey, but I think the quality is worth it.
We ate a very late lunch here when we were suddenly hungry after a shopping trip to Petco next door. My partner usually likes Panera so we went there. This was a disappointment.
He wanted the Asiago cheese sandwich. Instead, he received a Velveeta sandwich on stale white bread. It was something from a really bad school lunch circa 1974. Considering that there supposed to be a variety of much better bread and cheese options, I am not sure why he got this.
I had an everything bagel with cream cheese. It was barely toasted and I wasn't given a choice of cream cheese.
The location also could have been a bit cleaner. The staff was OK.
Is this supposed to be fine dining, no. This should be better, though, than what we received.
Once you been to one Panera you been to all and this is not the exception. I came here since I was in the mood for some soup before going to the movies. I got to try the cream of chicken and rice, not sure if this is a new soup but it was my first time trying it and it was delicious.
Panera to me its still one of the best places to grab a quick meal.
You can't go wrong with Panera. There's a ton of options for everyone; soups, salads, speciality sandwiches, baked goods. This particular store is a spacious, with lots of seating, so you're not competing with the tech-y coffee drinkers taking up valuable space. This particular location also has decent outdoor seating which is a bonus. The food here is always good in my opinion, but the service here can be spotty when it comes to orders. I am a fan favorite of the classic salad with chicken, chicken frontega, and french onion soup (it's not your traditional melted cheese version but still yummy). It's a good place to grab lunch, especially if you have kids. One of my faves for me and my little one.
They do a fine job with soups, salads, bread and baked goods. They are done quickly for the most part.
This location is kept reasonably clean.
There are several kids options as well.
The coffee lingers in those huge carafes for a bit too long. When it's fresh, it works, when it's not it gets quite stale.
They have a nice gated outdoor area that is a great spot for lunch in the warmer months.
Fun place. Wi-Fi helps when you want access to internet. Eating and working is good for this place whether doing school work of business work.
The foods is tasty. Never enough meat on sandwiches. But they are very healthy, good and tasty. This location had nice outdoor seating for the nice summer days to come. Being located next to the movie theater is a plus. Not to leave out the other shops within this little mall(plaza) called Essex Green.
Never ate here before, always assumed it was just some bakery. I was pleasantly surprised though, they have various soups, sandwiches, pastas and more. I went here for lunch since the subway in same mall suddenly closed down. I got the meditteranean chicken flatbead and it was quite good. Very flavorful chicken with a fair amount in the sandwich. The vegetables were good and the guacamole was very good. It came fairly quickly and wasn't too pricey — I got two which were about $4 a piece. I'm impressed since mainstream spots are seen to be not as good more smaller business places. I enjoyed and would happy to try this again next time I have to go out for lunch.
It was take out so I didn't really examine the actual resturant but it looks spacious, lots of people sitting and enjoying there meals and despite how busy it was there was room to get around, even this person in a wheelchair. Theres also outside seating for even more space.
I got there a half hour before they closed and they had the entire store put away. I specifically went there for coffee and there was none in the front. When I asked where the coffee was I was told it was in the back. Then to find out that all of the coffee had been dumped out. The manager apologised and offered to make me. Fresh cup as long as I was willing to wait. She brought it out to me and promised to return with cream and never came back. I had to wait like ten minutes to realize she want coming back and had to ask someone else for it.
Yeah not such a positive experience
