This place has been around for several years now and hasn't changed much in that time span. Their salads are okay and decently priced, but I always feel like something is off. Maybe it's the dressing? The smoothies are good.
Just as I was beginning to change my mind about this place, they go and screw things up.
This place deserves no more than 2 stars. It is definitely below average in my opinion.
The people that work here are just terrible. Lazy, unaccomodating, and to make things worse, I'm pretty sure they just charge whatever they feel like sometimes. I've ordered the same thing numerous times and the price always deviates by a dollar or so. I have no idea why and the employee can't tell me either.
The food here isn't too bad, but seriously, get some better employees. If only NY Bagel was open 24 hours, this place would shut down faster than you can say "This panini sucks."
I ordered just now and got a big old curly hair in my salad. I called them and asked them if they could help remedy the situation. Instead of offering to deliver a new one or give me a free salad the next time I went there, they said "if you come back and show us the hair, we'll give you a new one." I pointed out that it was pouring outside and it would suck to walk the 8 blocks in the rain to pick up a salad after they put the hair in my original one. Not only disgusting but also bad management. Would never go there again. And before I found the hair, the salad sucked.
This place is good in my book… especially when compared to the other deli-like places around it. Their food isn't bad. Its usually fresh and hot by the time my delivery comes. I have never had to wait more then 30 minutes for a delivery from this place. I've had their BLT many a'times and its never failed me. Their coffee is a hit at my office, we wont order a good cup a jo' from anywhere else.
the staff can be a bit rude. They practically hang up on you every time you call in and the counter people aren't any better. Also the price is sketchy. They're pretty pricey for what it is and its usually a few nickles and dimes off each time.
My coworkers and I order from here all the time. They offer many types of sandwiches and I love their salad options. They come in a huge bowl. The service is quick, which is important during your lunch hour and they deliver. Open 24hrs.
The chicken burrito was really bloody filling. I am not going to lie, i am one of those people that actually loves Chipotle. Yes, i said it. That place is damn delicious. Everything about it is perfect.
Anyway, back to this place – really convenient that it's open 24 hours and it delivers. The food was really satisfying – just not remarkable.
I don't think i'd order from them if it was during normal hours when i had other options in Murray Hill.
Not sure why this place gets mixed reviews?? I ordered the chicken quesadilla and it was SO GOOD, huge portion and stuffed with Chicken and cheese oozing out…Not that thin pressed two tortilla thing you get at a lot of Mexican restaurants. Also the panini was very good, perfectly Cooked and crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. Last but not least I got a mixed salad with a ton of toppings for only 8-9 bucks.. This is impossible to find in Manhattan so this is a huge win in my book !!! I ordered on seamless and the delivery was quick! So in my opinion def worth ordering the chicken quesadilla and paninis from here !
I now understand why these guys have such a mediocre rating. I needed a little caffeine so I ordered a chocolate chip iced coffee. I take my first sip and it taste like banana!! This isn't a banana split, what did they give me? If the drinks are this bad I have no idea what the sandwiches would taste like.
