Paris Baguette

“My only complaint is that their shaved ice and bubble teas are seasonal but are always on the menu.”

“My faves: sweet potato soft cake, green tea and red bean cake (ohmigod I just loooooooooove this!), anything with red bean and cream filling.”

“the name is bit of a misnomer – it's actually a chain bakery that started in Korea, but there are only a handful in the tri-state area.”

  1. This place is super cute! I came across paris baguette while living in Ridgefield. I am a huge fan of French inspired Asian bakeries. I believe they are Korean owned if I am not mistaken, if I am please feel free to correct me.

Hands down the best iced coffee I've ever had. I always get it with milk and sugar which they prepare daily and set it to chill. It's the perfect ratio of milk and sugar.  They also have a plain iced or hot black brew as well . Huge selection of interesting pastries. My favorites are anything with almonds or green tea, oh and the franks rolled up in a puff pastry with cheese noooommss.  They also have fresh little sandwiches and beautiful cakes! A must for any special occasion.
Staff is always super nice, great customer service. And their uniforms are adorable.

Street parking and shared parking lot. Reasonably priced (coffee definitely cheaper than starbucks!)

  2. Nice selection of Korean?? desserts. I don't eat much of the sweet stuff. I love their coffee. Comes in only one size. Friendly and appreciative staff.

  3. This is why I can't have a nice waistline!!! Whatevs, no regrets.

    A couple things:

    1. They have their version of a cronut here. I have no point of reference since I never tried the real cronut (I'm not about that line standing life. Nooooope!). First couple of bites are heaven, but then it just gets heavy and you end up hating yourself. Probably best for drunk bingeing.
    2. Restraint is a must because everything looks delightful, is packaged beautifully and priced reasonably. Basically you'll want to buy everything.
    3. My faves: sweet potato soft cake, green tea and red bean cake (ohmigod I just loooooooooove this!), anything with red bean and cream filling.
    4. Vegetarian fare in the sandwich/hot food department is lacking. Minor issue because the pastries are every-thang!

  4. Excellent milk bread. Great for french toast.

When it comes to a Parisian quality, asian inspired patisserie, Sook in Ridgewood (yelp.com/biz/sook-pastry…) is hard to beat — so my standards for North Jersey are high.  Probably the best in Ft. Lee.

This franchise location is cute and their baked goods are decent quality — but not 5 star.  Has a supermarket bakery feel to it.

Convenient for a quick post dinner dessert and coffee while in town, although seating and parking is limited.  I prefer the Turkish bakeries in neighboring Cliffside Pk. (e.g. yelp.com/biz/istanbul-bo…).

  5. I finally came here last weekend and was blown away! Small little storefront located rite on Lemoine Ave in Fort Lee walk rite in grab a tray and get ready for an amazing experience.

I literally was in aw of everything they make here cakes, pastries, even macarons! I tried to buy a little bit of everything they had to offer and everything I tried was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. The cronuts they have here will blow your mind, I bought the blueberry and the lemon and both were absolute perfection, flaky goodness! The little creme brule donuts they have are also delicious along with pretty much everything they have in this store. The cakes that they make look like a work of art and from what I gather you have to order a few days in advance. Before you leave with all of your goodies make sure you grab a container of the cookies they sell delightful bites because they are not lying when they say they are delightful but they should also add addictive to the description because they didn't last an hour.

I can't wait to come back for some more delicious treats and I suggest if you have the opportunity to come to Paris Baguette that you don't hesitate.

  6. Paris Baguette is one of my favorite chain bakery stores. The desserts and drinks are consistently delicious, creative, and made with quality ingredients. The price points are a bit higher than your average bakery/cafe but well worth it.

The detail placed into every dessert and freshness is outstanding. I've yet to try something I didn't like. I got the strawberry fresh cream slice ($5.50) at this location and it was one of the best cake slices I've had. The strawberries were the best quality and incredibly fresh. The cream was freshly whipped, light, not too dense, and not to sugary which I really like. The cake was moist like a sponge cake, airy and again not dense. Delicious! I will definitely need to order a full sized cake from here in the future.

The cakes are very well priced for the quality, taste, and size. Avg about $28-35 depending on what type of cake you get. The hot matcha green tea latte I got was very good as well. A tad bit too sweet but overall very good.

The only problem with this location is the size. The shop is located in a tiny corner on the side of the building – extremely small with hardly any room to sit. I've been to other branches in the city and central jersey where the store is much larger with plenty of seating space. Overall though excellent bakery.

  7. If the review was purely on the quality of the baked goods sold here, I would give  5 stars.  The treats are consistently delicious and very well made and packaged.

The cashiers who work here seem like they may be in high school and are working here as part-time employees.  They're neither friendly nor rude, they just do their job in cashing you out.

The overall store is a bit on the smaller side, but there is a decent selection of goods.  Cakes look super delicious and I've tried some of them (purchased by my family) and they are just the right amount of sweetness.

Their croissants are perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside.  Their other pastries are good as well.  Macaroons were yummy also.  Reasonably priced but be careful- picking and choosing several of the pastries will add up quickly!

There's off-street as well as on-street parking (metered), so you can always find a spot to run in and grab a few items.

Coffee (both hot and iced) are really good, too.

  8. I come here regularly and overall, I had very positive experiences.

Their staff is always changing but haven't had any bad experiences with them.
Their baked goods and drinks are consistent.
My favorite are the pastries with sausage in it. Their pork sausages taste great.
Only thing I wouldn't get again are the bubbles in the bubble teas because they were hard and seemed almost frozen. They also do not have any decaf coffees.
It is a small cafe and seats are very limited.
