The most memorable items on the menu we have tried :
Fish battered tacos.
It's worth a trip back.. and the drunken muscles aren't bad either.
I came here on a whim after walking around Bronxville and it was a great suprise. Can't-miss menu of good food with good service. My portion of shortrib was huge and I had to take some home…and I am a beast!
Was pleased to come across this place on a Sunday afternoon in Bronxville. The brunch menu has some interesting and everyone gets a free mimosa or bloody mary (refills on the bloody are $9). The short rib burger was tasty, but mushy. Not sure if there's a way around that. Shredded short rib might have made for a better sandwich. The huevos rancheros lacked much salsa or tortillas to wrap it all in. The grilled cheese sandwich was mostly bread with a slice of cheese. The menu held a lot of promise, but didn't deliver. Cute space though.
A place this pretty I didn't expect such a great meal . In shock. Had a lunch special. 2 meals $34. That's pretty decent for seafood . I'll post some pix to show you!
I went here for brunch on New Years day after coming across it on Yelp. I thought the food was delicious. I had a lobster roll, which came with a free Mimosa. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and definitely a cute date spot. It wasn't crowded at all when I went. I would definitely consider going back if I'm in the area. The wine menu is pretty legit too, which I liked. It's also right next to the train station which is rather convenient.
Very cute space, loved the decor, trendy vibe.
We came by on a Saturday for brunch on labor day weekend. Which is probably why it was fairly quiet as people tend to leave town.
Started with a round of bloody maries & got a round of pear bellini on the house for a Yelp 'check in' offer. The server was very sweet.
My friend had the Lobster Benedict & I had the Huevos rancheros. The Heuvos were definitely different from what I have had, a healthier version- less cheese.
We had a nice time, and would like to check out the place for dinner sometime in the future. Brunch was very reasonably priced.
I'd say Park143 is a cool and modern-type bistro, offering a petit, yet, elaborate Brunch, Lunch and Dinner menu. When you step in Park143, you'll notice the airiness and openness of the restaurant. You'll also take notice that Park143, is not particularly huge, but how furniture and decor is arranged, everything comes together, nicely. It's modern-casual (if that's such a term) and not uptight whatsoever, playing Earth, Wind & Fire and other Throwbacks. Pretty funky spot in my book for Bronxville.
While I waited for my Bellini (on the house, when you Check-In) and Mumsy waited for her coffee, I excused my self to wash my hands. I rarely pinpoint restrooms on my reviews- unless they're mind-altering….. But this is another funky one, with a different tone. There were at least 8-10 LP's decorating one side of the restroom wall, all ranging from Chaka, Luther and others. I was doing a 2 step- in the bathroom while I was drying my hands. The music carried on to their main dining room, and was so damn good, hell…..I was still jamming and dancing til I got to my seat! I'm sorry….I can't help it!
We settled on a light Brunch and was really impressed by the variety of their items. Though I'm not an asparagus fan, my eyes went directly towards 'The Park Omelette' with smoked salmon, chèvre and small bite-size asparagus. But the best part of my omelette, had to be the ever-so-delicate taste of nutmeg. Some might think, "Salmon, chèvre, asparagus, eggs AND nutmeg?" Yeah….But it was delicious. The way that Park143 joined these ingredients with a spice, was truly stunning. Mumsy went for the more typical, yet, Park143's flair of Steak & Eggs with Paprika Potatoes- that had a nice hint of heat that I felt in the back of my throat.
Our server, Angela was very accommodating and pleasant the moment we sat, til the end. And the high quality ingredients in their dishes, were outstanding. Definitely will be back for Dinner.
