Park Wood Deli
The only reason I'm not rating this place 5/5 is because I got my "usual" when I went there, which was a huge mistake. They have a monster menu of great deli subs, sandwiches, and wraps, nicknamed from the surrounding streets, parks, and sports teams. Classy town joint. My girlfriend lives about 5 minutes from this place, and she was raging about it to me, so we went there yesterday for a light dinner…it was terrific. Fresh meat and veggies daily, cut to perfection.
Park Wood Deli is quite spacious inside, with an assortment of candy (perfect for sweet tooth's like me), as well as chips galore. The guy who owns the place and makes the sandwiches is really laid back, as opposed to some sub shop owners who are grumpier than an 85-year old.
The wrap I did have was delicious, albeit it was my normal for any sub shop I go to; but I DID take a menu home with me so next time I come in, I'll get something that'll better showcase the freshness of this place.
