This place is an awesome addition to the Flatbush area! I've been waiting for a great pizza joint and this is it! They offer a few other tastes but pizza is their main! I love the idea of being able to take a stroll to this restaurant it's literally a 15 minute away. So after I stuff myself with delicious pizza I can exercise too! Score!
Ok enough about the irrelevant stuff that you probably don't care about…! Here's what you need to know. The restaurant has a chill vibe, and the service is friendly and prompt! We sat, we were greeted, we ordered and our food came out all within a 20 minute span!
Now the pizza…! It's delicious! Fresh, hot and they use quality ingredients. I had the pineapple jalapeño pizza and it was the most amazing sweet and salty bomb. I am not ashamed to say that I ate the whole thing. ( Don't judge me) we also tried the crustinos and all the flavors we tried were amazing! For under 50 bucks we had appetizers and very filling pizzas! This place is surely worth the visit and the walk!
Seriously love this place!
It was my first, and definitely not my last time coming here, last night. It's been bookmarked for months and I finally got a chance to come here. It's hard to get parking nearby if you are driving and if you do, it's pretty tight, so beware. It is very easy to get to as there is a bus stop (B41) right next to the establishment.
I met up with my good friend to have a drink and some good food in our neck of the woods. The ambiance and lighting are wonderful. Kind of out of place for the neighborhood lol, but nonetheless, needed and a nice addition. You can tell the neighborhood is right in the thick of the gentrification process.
We sat at the bar which has a lovely selection of cocktails and knowledgeable and friendly bartenders, who we were greeted by upon entering.
There is a "guard" standing inside by the entrance to help weed out those that are not welcome. (Two homeless people tried to get in and ask patrons for money, which was quite uncomfortable but not really the restaurant's fault) They do their best to make sure it does not escalate. Even with all that, this place is a gem. Let me get into the food.
My friend and I both ordered pizzas. They are oven style and large! The size of the pizzas when they came out really intimidated us and we thought we could have and should have ordered 1 to share, but half-way through our dishes, we realized the pizzas have a very thin crust so even someone as tiny as me can eat the whole thing in one sitting, which I did 😉
I ordered the Mussels Pizza and my friend ordered the Mozzarella. Both were FREAKING DELICIOUS!! We pretty much wolfed them down. The mussels were perfectly cooked and every ingredient on the pizza was fresh and flavorful. You could taste every ingredient! Really awesome stuff. They have other items on their menu that do not include pizza, which is great. I will be coming back to try out some of their other dishes.
For drinks, my friend had the Williams Colliins and I had the Good Vibrations. Each was $12 and tasted pretty good. I do wish they had a happy hour time slot though 🙁 Would have been even better to have discounted drinks 🙂
We had a great time talking the night away with the ambiance, lighting, excellent food, and great drinks. This place really is a gem! I cannot wait to come back. Really satisfied and highly recommend Parkside.
Came here for a cast party and had a great time.
There's a guy at the door welcoming you as you enter and really went the extra mile by coming over to small talk and make you feel comfortable. We ordered a pepperoni pizza which was only $12. It was thin and tasty, but don't expect a huge pie ! (Big enough for two people to share )
The barista's were happy to adjust their orders to what you wanted also. Parkside has great customer service!
Parkside also has great music taste and add a suitable volume where you're not screaming to the person next to you. The bar it is dimly in a good way And has plenty of seating .
Overall I would come back and I recommend others to try this bar. 🙂
Get yo draaaaank on.
At 7pm on a Sunday it was surprisingly full, but having arrived at 6 we got a seat quickly.
We shared the burrata and Brussel sprouts. The burrata was delicious and had an incredibly well seasoned purple slaw with it. The sprouts were also very good, but unfortunately were Luke warm at best.
We tried the lamb sausage pizza ($16) which is the most expensive pie on the menu. It took a bit to come out, but it was really good. Six slices of that thin crust pizza along with the two apps were a perfect amount to share. The pizza had great lamb flavor and sweet onions complemented it well.
My girlfriend also had The Reverend cocktail, which was heavily reliant on allspice and a really interesting treat.
Best pizza you'll get unless you hike way up to Barboncino, but they still need to work on a few details to make it to 5 stars.

– This place gets poppin very quickly. Doors opened at 6pm on a Saturday. It was full by 6:20pm.
– 2 people ordered two pizzas, one app. We were struggling to finsh the last piece in the end.
I've been here twice so far and each time I've enjoyed the quick serivce and the great food. Sometimes they have live music too! The best part about this place is that it's right around the block from my apartment. I also like how I can get a personal pan of really good / gormetish pizza and then take half home for lunch the next day. Make sure you heat it up in a toast oven, never microwave leftover pizza you monsters. Decent little set up with a nice mood and good atmosphere. Nice bar list too.
Parkside is a great lunch and dinner spot near Prospect Park in Brooklyn. Take the Q train to Parkside Ave stop.
I came here for dinner on Saturday night without a reservation at 7pm and was immediately seated. Things started to get busier at 8pm but still a short wait for a table. The happy hour (ends at 7:30) includes weekends, so we took advantage of the cheaper drinks. The cocktails are particularly nice and highly recommended. I enjoy ginger and lime/lemon drinks and they have plenty on the menu.
Noise wise, it has a buzz but we were able to talk comfortably and couldn't hear the conversations of the people around us.
Their menu is small, but has expanded recently. And they're good at what they actually do. It mostly consists of pizza and crostini. The pizzas are thin and doughy. They have all kinds of interesting cheeses and flavors, so try something new.
Local neighborhood spot.Honestly there's not much to choose from, but for gourmet pizza it was surprisingly good. I had the prosciutto pizza ($17), it was served warm and the taste was good.
The restaurant is clean. The bartender was friendly, he saw that I was not interested in small talk and he respected that.
Happy hour wine $6. Family friendly restaurant.
