“In conclusion, If you're a sweet tooth like me, you'll want to make a stop here…”

“I love that they open the floor-to-ceiling windows when it's nice out, so you kind of get that "outdoor seating" feel.”

I really like this place. The pancakes, the pastries, the people, it's all good. I've been here a few times tried a few different things off the breakfast and lunch menu and have always left very satisfied. Had brunch this past weekend and the service was very friendly and laid back even though many of the tables were full. Sheryl our waitress was a sweetheart. Nothing like exceptional customer service. I've had the banana nut pancakes and wheat pancakes which I really like. This time I had a spinach and feta omelette with grilled chicken. Wish it was packed with more chicken but that because I eat like a beast. For the average appetite it'll do. The atmosphere is relaxed the menu has plenty of options, now with dinner, and the pancake options are great. Im a sucker for pancakes. It's a nice addition to the neighborhood.

    10am Saturday morning

Me: "Is it too early to get a canolli?
Pleasant waitress:  "It's never too early.."

and that's how you make a wonderful start to a beautiful Saturday.

My usual places were filled with the "usual suspects" in Bay Ridge, so I decided to give this another go today.

So glad I did!  Not crowded. (though it is when I walk by often)…but today I found it as a welcome jump start to my morning.
2.75 for a finely crafted cappuccino is really a great deal.

I don't usually do the crumb cake, but grabbed a nice fat slice to go at $2 at that was the best part of the morning.  Really felt like great quality, value and service.  Thanks for being a part of the neighborhood.

Really not good baked items.  Coconut macaroons needed sugar.  Pistachio cheesecake lacked pistachio flavor and was pasty and waxy.  Shouldn't cheesecake be creamy?

    3.5 stars : Coffee & a Treat kinda place

Came here with a friend around 9:30pm on a saturday- pretty empty, which I don't really mind. Surprised when I found I knew one the servers, Adam, who did an awesome job at showing us around the cookies and pastries.

I do realize I came late so everything won't be as fresh but I must say the cookies were a bit too stale… The mini fruit tarts were tasty but for $2.00 meh — not worth it for a bite sized treat. I also ordered the apple turn over which was big and $2.00 was yummy and worth it. My friend really liked the tiramisu cup and mini eclair. Perhaps it was me just being coffee deprived but the cappuccino was on point ! I had two. ($2.50) while small americano is $1.75.
Also $7 for a cake slice !? You trippin' , but I bought a peanut butter cheesecake slice for a friend on my way out. (what you do for people eh?)lol

Pasticceria Rocco is a pretty place to sit down and have a small treat, very clean and nice staff ( besides adam). I do like the decor. A little pricey but I must say nothing bad that I wouldn't come back for.

The space is larger and more airy since the renovation. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. This place definitely if a local favorite- they'll know your order in no time. Good wifi and close to the R and B8

I usually get a decaf Americano or latte, which is consistently good. I love ogling the pastry case and typically settle on a less sweet Italian cookie- sesame is my fav (small and satisfying). The biscotti are delicious and the split cream puff with fruit is a nice treat- small, not too sweet, tart because of the berries, and not as messy as it looks!

I was excited to try this place as it's brand new, close to my home and looks beautiful. Went in there the first time and tried some desserts. Everything my wife and I tried was amazing. However, the prices were outrageous. Everything is practically twice as expensive as Paneantico, which is only 2-3 blocks away located on 92nd and 3rd. I would suggest going there instead. I doubt that I'll be going back.

This place is across the street from my friends dealership. Signature Auto Group!
They always speak highly about it so I gave it a try and it just did not do it for me.

We were watching the superbowl this past sunday and they catered with some great food and some cookies from this bakery. At first I just thought they did not pick up the choices that I like.

During one of the big timeouts I ran over to purchase some of the things I thought would like and would taste better and it just did not do it for me. There was a very small selection of chocolate based sweets. The staff was young and not too professional.

I will still give them another try in the future if I am in the area and have my one out of 10 sweet tooth moments of the day.

I had been stalking this place for weeks before it opened. Went in on the first day and several times since. Have had some good things and some bad, unfortunately. The babas with ricotta and the little pastries with berries and custard are delicious. So is the torrone. The cookies, however, are terrible, as were a few other things I've had. So it's hit or miss here.
