So I have to be honest, not all Pastosa's are created equal. I'm a huge fan of the Forest Avenue location. This location I swing by out of pure convenience and forgetting it is just not as good.
The issues? I swung by the other day and they were out of vodka sauce. They didn't even have a frozen one. So I put the spinach manicotti back then too, obviously.
The frozen Juniors cheesecake tastes, well…frozen. Done with that idea for special occasions.
So, the soup? A quick meal option and my go to at the Forest Avenue location. I bought the chicken and rice. It had minimal chicken, flavor and taste. I was hungry shortly after since it lacked everything. The pasta fagioli? It's in a thick sauce (almost like tomato sauce) and lacks beans. The pasta fagioli on Forest is, in my opinion, the best on the island.
I'm not quite sure why the shops vary so much. However after too many disappointing experiences here, I'll drive the distance for quality.
