  1. I was really excited to see a Chinese bakery open up, with its $1 cream-by-default Chinese bakery coffee n all. But I was terribly disappointed when I tried their sponge cakes. They're these small round discs that look soft and squishy, but were in fact stale and hard. I still went back and still go back because I want this place to work out. I tried some other things, like the egg, ham, and cheese sesame roll sandwich. It was delightful. They have hot lunch specials too, like chicken and vegetables over rice, which was not as delightful, but still good.

The staff is super, super nice. I've accidentally spoken Chinese to the lovely Latina ladies more than once because I'm so used to ordering my Chinese bakery coffee that way. And yes, I must say "Chinese bakery coffee" each time because just plain "coffee" refers to the watery, overpriced near-burnt stuff served by all other bakeries.

  2. I come here all the time to get my tea with milk fix.  This is a great place.  They have seating and many kind of pastries.  They also have hot noodle and rice dishes all under $10.  I love their fried fish, fried egg & ham croissants, and sandwiches.
