  1. Patisserie Florentine is an extremely cute restaurant with great drinks. My cappuccino was frothy and warm on a cold day. I'd suggest going before the 11AM brunch bewitching hour if you go on a weekend because this restaurant is tiny! The wall of pastries in the front was mouthwatering. I took one star off of what I was originally going to put since my quiche with salmon was quite dry.

  2. My Love and I stopped in for brunch on a Monday morning (Martin Luther King Holiday) and we literally got the last available table. This joint was hopping!  Seating was tight and we had to shimmy our way into and out of our table. The surroundings were warm and inviting and there was a lot to look at.

We both ordered the Omelet Royale, which offers two eggs (any style), two add-ins (more are extra $), served with fancy home fries, Israeli salad (beautifully dressed) and homemade brioche with a tasty marmalade (NOT orange, thank God…nothing repulses me more than orange marmalade). He ordered a cold brewed iced coffee (he loves the cold brew variety…he was so happy!) and I had me a frothy decaf cappuccino. We agreed that it was one of the best breakfasts we've had. Everything was fresh and made to order, including the coffee. It takes a little while for the food to arrive, and service is a bit scattered, so be patient and enjoy the company of the person you're with. Be happy you're not at work or somewhere equally as terrible. HeHe.

We were negligent with pictures, but Patisserie Florentine boasts about 300+. Our meal equivalents are somewhere in there.

Be sure to grab a little bakery something-something on the way out. You're not going to find anything as good as this at Starbucks nor Panera.

    Oui oui!

  3. The chef here trained in France and really does make outstanding pastries. I went when they 1st opened and my only criticism is that the menu was quite limited/felt somewhat uninspired. The food is fresh, interior is clean, service is so-so. Prices are a bit on the high side, but generally on par for this area. I would give 3.5 stars total. Not sure if they've made mjr. changes since they 1st opened, that's worth considering as well.

  4. Very cute place with outside seating.  Came here early on a weekday morning- no wait.

    I ordered the omelette Royal.
The food is delicious!  The bread is to die for!  The potatoes were as good as mine!  The salad was fresh but it was not an Israeli salad as advertised.

    Overall a very good meal!

  5. Patisserie Florentine takes you out of Jersey and into a European cafe. It is cute and cozy inside, but small, and the restaurant does not take reservations. On weekend days, get here early to avoid the crowds! The coffee menu is extensive, although it did take some time for my friends' cappuccinos and lattes to brew. I enjoyed the briochette almond French toast. The vanilla sauce was a unique touch and I enjoyed the fresh banana and strawberry slices.

  6. Five stars.

Dined here twice, and each time has exceeded my expectations. First time, I tried the omelette with goat cheese. I'm not a big breakfast/brunch person, and hence prior to dining here, I never had an omelette with goat cheese before, but it works.

The second time I was back here, I ordered the Grille Exotique, which came with sour dough topped with grilled salmon, arugula, capers, mangos, and a side of salad. It was as flavorful and tasty as it was presented. The green tea latte was not sweet at all, which I loved. The madeleine that came with the latte was a bit too dry. But all in all, everything is done right.

The bathroom is super clean and spacious.

Friendly staffs. Ample dining space, both inside and outside.

Street parking only. The spaces are plenty on weekdays, but can be quite tricky on weekends. One hour maximum for each meter. Free parking on Sundays.

  7. I was drooling as I looked at the pictures for brunch at Patisserie Florentine.  I stopped by on a Saturday morning and snagged a small table for 2. As I walked in, I was drawn by all the fresh looking baked goods on display.

But let me tell you – order the Briochette ($11.50) French toast with baked almond cream, bananas, strawberries, whipped cream & vanilla Anglaise. When I saw two pieces of french toast I was a bit disappointed (I wanted 3) BUT it's a great portion and it was absolutely delicious!

The place fills up pretty quick and the servers are running around back and forth trying their best to get to everyone. We saw our server very little but thankfully the food was on point, the fresh OJ was perfect, and we left happy! I'll be back #PatisserieFlorentine !

  8. I have not had the chance to go here myself but I have had the pleasure of indulging in a few of their beautiful desserts from time to time.

The desserts are amazing and decadent and absolutely beautiful to look at. I can't wait to go there myself !
