  1. I love this place.

For the service, the food and the price, it cannot be beat.

They have a full menu of Italian fare, and then they offer three different prix fixe options. They range in price from $39-$56.

For $56 per person you get:
    – pizza
    – fried calamari
    – seafood salad
    – lobsters (we saw them remove the live lobster and then cook him (her?))
    – stuffed mushrooms
    – pasta
    – steak
    – lamb chops
    – baked clams
    – dessert (stuffed nutella pastries/tiramisu)
    – coffee/tea
    – wine or sangria or beer

So much food! Served family style.

The waiters were very sweet and attentive, always providing clean plates and fresh napkins.

If it's your birthday, you get to wave a napkin around!

The food is fresh, and delicious. I highly recommend it.

  2. Food overload. Seriously. I was in pain from eating so much, but in a good way.

We came here for my cousins birthday and there was about 8 of us. The place is really big and lively. It's like a huge house party. Everytime it's someones birthday, the whole place explodes into one large birthday song that plays over the speakers and everyone waves their napkins in the air. It was a lot of fun for me, but if you don't like that type of environment it's easy to get annoyed as it seemed like everyone was having a birthday that night.

For the first course, if that's what you refer to it as, we were served pizza, eggplant parm, seafood salad, buffalo calamari, regular calamari, burrata and tomato salad and clams casino. The pizza was pretty good, as well as the eggplant parm. The seafood salad was ok – needed some more flavor and the clams casino were pretty mushy. The filling was good but had a undercooked texture to them. All of this on top of the endless bread and olive oil dip, which I ate too much of. The buffalo calamari was so good! I don't know if that comes standard, but ask for it its delicious.

The next round was lobster. I've never been a huge fan of lobster so this didn't excite me. I tried it, but it seemed like a lot of shell and not a lot of meat. I passed on that after a few bites. We were then served steak and lamb chops. I don't eat lamb, but the steak was delicious and juicy. Finally, we were served a pasta that I've never had but it's similar to tortellini. It had a delicious tomato cream sauce on it, and a really good filling, but I was too full to have more than one bite. Seriously. I was too full to even speak at this point. After dinner we received a dessert platter and coffee, which I couldn't even take one bite of.

Overall I seriously doubted the amount of food I would be receiving. My advice would be don't eat all day or eat a very small meal and don't go too crazy with the bread and oil. The service was excellent and the environment was so fun. All of this comes served with unlimited sangria – it get's no better! The price is not bad at all for all the food you get. This place is a must try with friends and family or if you just got dumped and want to eat your feelings.

  3. Patrizia's was everything i heard and thought it was going to be and then some !!!!!!

Finally had the time to come here and OMG absolute perfection from the large parking lot to the setup to the waiting to be seated tents outside (served wine while you wait) to the menu and staff ….i can go on an on about this place but lets get to the point !!

Soon as you walk in the door you're greeted with a smile and the scent of the brick ovens baking some pieces of heaven !

After being seated our waitress was an absolute sweetheart , she took the time to describe some of the dishes to my parents and cousin who's visiting from out of the country and showed lots of professionalism and patience  (my dad asks alot of questions) but she answered all with a smile and very helpful.

We ordered a few apps , i asked her what she suggests and or whats popular and she said the Buffalo Galamad ……THE BUFFALO GALAMAD WAS OUTTA THIS WORLD GOOD !!! its now a must every time i get to come back. The sauce – perfect , the calamari-perfect , the portions-HUUGGEEEE !! Also decent size fresh fish display and live lobsters blowing kisses at you while you walk by :- )

so to see what we ordered just check out my pics , i swear everything single dish was sooo good . Its by far my favorite restaurant right now. I dont remember the last time I've been to a restaurant where i enjoyed everything from apps to dessert  and everything in between! The portions are ginormous so be prepared to share or take home doggie bags for tomorrow's lunch.

Im not gonna describe the dishes because they were as good if not BETTER than they looked in the pics , also the in house baked breads and spicy aioli mmuuaahhh perfection !!

You have to come and try patrizia's ASAP !!!

  4. I came here on Valentines day for my grandfathers 90th birthday and we had a blast. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. I will definitely be back with my husband!

  5. Patrizia's far exceeded my expectations, even after hearing rave reviews from my family. One downfall was having to wait a while even after having made reservations, but that's no fault of the restaurant's that their patrons want to stay and enjoy everything they have to offer. They even had a tent and wine outside to enjoy for those waiting for their tables.

Upon being seated, we were asked if we would be doing the family style dinner, which is what we went to do! At $57.99 per person, the price cannot be beat. Once we confirmed, the courses started coming…

Course 1: The obvious bread and olive oil spread (YUM, but don't fill up on it!)

*Also note, the unlimited sangria arrived (don't fill up on that either)

    Course 2: Seafood salad

Course 3: Fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and peppers

    Course 4: Wood fired pizza

Course 5: Calamari and clams casino

Course 6: Seafood plate (with lobster)

Course 7: More calamari (this time buffalo style), and octopus legs

Course 8: Meat plate (with skirt steak and lamb chops)

Course 9: Moneybag cheese filled pasta in a creamy sauce (so decadent and delicious)

Course 10: Dessert tray and coffee of our choosing (I selected cappuccino)

All of the above was included in the family style price. Everything was delicious, the service was impeccable considering how busy it was. And it was so much fun! A birthday song played for everyone's birthdays (which seemed as if it were every 5 minutes), and everyone in the restaurant would wave their white napkins in the air. I really wish this concept would bring it's way to Albany, NY. I'd be there all the time.

Overall a great experience. I recommend not eating for hours before going to thoroughly enjoy all they have to offer!

  6. Loud and festive atmosphere. My kids absolutely loved when the waiters sang happy birthday to another table and were waving their napkins around. Service was extremely friendly. We went before the dinner rush and sat right down but when we left the place was packed!  The food was delicious and portions tremendous. Be prepared to share or take food home.

  7. Want a taste of good ol' Italian American cooking with the guidos of Brooklyn and Staten Island?  Patrizia's is your place, makes me remember what DC does not have and makes me happy and homesick lol.  It's a bit kitchy decor wise and while they do rent out half of the restaurant, the hostess stand and huge windows make privacy almost non existent so I'm not sure I'd have an event here but come and eat I will!  Jug of Sangria while you wait? Yes, please!  Bottles of wine on the table like you're home and/or attending any Italian family event? Yes please!  Want a glass of wine? Drink from the bottle!

    Loud.
I did say this was an Italian America hub of yummy food didn't I?  If you're uptight or looking for something more low key, search elsewhere.  Patrizia's is for hte fun and festive and napkins in the air for your birthday!!!! Woooo!
If you have quite a hungry group, go for their family style menu with lots of pizza, assorted dishes and LOBSTAH!

Customer Service spotty.  Attentive but too many cooks in the kitchen mantra applies here. Had three waitstaff come to take our order after we had explained we already placed our order with the first.  Ask one person for a drink for them to forget and ask another person who has a total random busboy bring it.  Need to communicate better

Love their Parma pie.  Ask them to cut it for you because the whole prosciutto and arugula on top make it a betch to eat arg. While their mussels in white sauce is a bit too salty for my taste, their baked clams are MONEY!

Patrizia's delivers too but I like my pizza fresh and my Patrizia's experience festive!

  8. Yes, it does get loud – so don't expect to have a romantic quiet dinner with your love one. However, on the pro side – it's entertaining when it's someone's bday. They raise their napkin in the air and twirl it. It gets the other patrons going.
    The food is just excellent.
