Their jerk chicken taste changed and is a bit too dry. It sure changed a lot since I last visited. (new menu sign!)
I tried this little Jamaican place for lunch today and got the mini jerk chicken lunch which came in a small takeout container but was completely filling. The chicken was really good (moist & tender) but not spicy enough. The gravy was excellent but I would definitely get extra next time.
It came with some cooked cabbage that tasted like it had been cooked with cloves, two fried plantains and some rice with peas, corn and carrots. All the sides were quite good and I am now wondering if I can get just an order of the fried plantains with gravy…that would be a really good lunch!
