“Inconvenient that they do not accept credit cards, especially since some meals can get pricey…”

“Big omelets, yummy pancakes and french toast (including whole wheat with bananas and walnut syrup…yum!!)”

“The only reason this place lost a star is because they are a cash only establishment so make sure you make a stop at the ATM before ordering !”

  1. This place gets packed out for a reason. The challah french toast with bananas and nutella is a must try. The french toast is so soft and perfect because of the challah. I recently tried the chicken and waffles, and it wasn't anything special. On the menu it says that their chicken is never frozen, and always cooked fresh. The lattes here are amazing as well, I always go for the iced hazelnut latte. Staff is so friendly here. Only downside is that it's cash only!

  2. Came here on a Saturday afternoon.
The morning and noon rush looks almost gone.
I was recommended to have the mint lemonade bye 3 servers.
I guess they were trying to push the drink-they succeed.
I'm not a lemonade fan, but I ended up drinking it all so that shows something.

I got the Burbon French Toast and the other got the Chicken and waffle.
I don't think there was anything special about the French Toast-all I remember is that it was really good.
It was on the brunch special menu because looking at the regular menu just took too long for us to look through lol.
Sweet potato fries were crispy and good also.

    Cash only!

  3. This is the best breakfast I've had in a while. We had to wait approximately 20 minutes. The service was extremely friendly and helpful.

I had a cappuccino and it was a good balance between steamed milk and espresso. However, it was unsweetened, which threw me off a little. We ordered the Challah French toast and the meat mix omelette. The French toast was moist, indicating that they soaked it in the liquid for a sufficient amount of time. There was nice browning on the bread. The meat mix omelette was good but nothing over the top. I will say that the eggs probably had a splash of milk added into it because they were extra fluffy.

  4. Came for breakfast here with a few friends one early morning. Luckily there wasn't a line out the door. This place has dim lighting. it's relaxing and the staffs are so friendly.

I had the French toast with bananas and walnuts. My goodness it was so good, I finished the whole dish. It comes with 4 halves of french toast, topped with bananas and walnuts as it says on the menu. The syrup is on the side. It was so good.

My friends got the Irish breakfast with easy over eggs. It was so much on the plate. Although I didn't try it, it looked and smelled really good.

Definitely coming back to try it next time.

TIP: 1) CASH ONLY. Doesn't matter what card you have, get cash before going in.
    2) Go earlier if you don't want to wait out the doors.

  5. So this place as my wife and I walk by has ALWAYS been packed… but we finally decided to venture out and see what the hype was all about.

We popped in brunch and was not really greeted by anybody, but one of the waiters pointed at a table signaling us to sit there. This place is a really small, mom-and-pop type of brunch place which has its own hipster/city like charm with its decor of the bar and seating arrangements.

The menu was pretty straight forward, but we decided to order off their "BRUNCH" menu that looks like it changes occasionally. I went with chicken and waffles and my wife ordered the french toast.

The waffles were whatever — nothing to really write home about, but the chicken tenders/strips as they advertise "NEVER FROZEN" really delivered. It had to have been one of the most tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked chicken strips I've ever had! It was perfectly accommodated with their homemade honey-dijon sauce.

French toast with diced almonds and bananas — my wife loved them; but I wasn't too big of a fan. It tasted very bland.

Overall, this is a nice little place to have near by; you should definitely check it out but remember, they are cash only with no ATM on site, so come prepared!

  6. This place is CASH ONLY.

This place is your standard diner. But they offer a limited brunch menu with staple brunch items like eggs Benedict, avocado toast, French toast etc! The brunch prices are well priced relative to the city – flat $11 dollars any brunch dish. And discounted fresh squeezed orange juice and latte if you order a brunch dish ($2.50)!

The orange juice is small – maybe 8 oz? 10 oz?

I had the bourbon French toast with bananas and almonds! The almonds gave the toast an extra crunch which I loved.

    Service was good/average.

They also serve this brunch on weekdays (came in on a Monday afternoon). Or maybe they just have it all the time… But that's a thumbs up for me.

  7. Wanted to see what all the hype was about, so we came here for brunch on a Monday, as to avoid the long wait. Luckily, there was one table available for us! My friend got a delicious basted egg brunch plate, and I go the grilled chicken panini and a cappuccino. Everything was pretty good. No complaints, but I need to return and try out some other yums.

  8. Solid 3 stars! Good diner. Good food. Better diner food- but portions are smaller and a little bit more pricey than your average diner.

I deducted a 2 stars because of portions/price and the fact that they're NOT open for late night dinner/snacks. That sucks.

    Service is very ordinary.

Maybe I'd go back… Good Greek wraps
