Extensive menu, friendly service, generous portions and affordable prices. We discovered this gem while house hunting in Pelham this past weekend, and it provided us a place to grab a quick bite and rest our tired feet.
The one thing I would have liked to see different/improved is the ambience. Somewhat dated and could use a refresh in terms of paint and furniture. Overall felt a little unkempt, but saved by clean bathrooms.
A special shout out to our server who was friendly, responsive and attentive. Looking forward to going back once we move to that part of the country.
Pelham doesn't really have much in the way of diner service, and sometimes you just want diner food. I wouldn't say the food is anything special, but it's consistently decent. I especially love being able to eat grits with my breakfast, whether breakfast tacos, stuffed french toast or an omelette. Some of my friends and I have a standing Friday morning meet up there, and the staff is very understanding and accommodating to our brood (adults AND kids).
