I came here for my small unknown bday dinner. My wife and her friend snuck in a cake and had the waitress play happy birthday via youtube.
We had a party of 4 and shared half marinated and half regular chicken, sweet potato fries and the tiny shoe string fries. The food was hot and tasty.
They have beer of draft here which I like. Chicken and beer is such a great combo. Add in some hot sauce and it becomes poor man's thanksgiving dinner.
My main gripe is that the music way too loud only if you're underneath the speakers. So, beware.
Chicken and fruit beer taste sooo good! They have different spice levels of sauces. Waitress did make a mistake and gave us different chicken glizzard bit they offered to replace it with what we ordered. But the mistaken food was good too! So I was happy with the food I got. Overall service was satisfying too. Will be back!
It's a really popular Korean chain and I thought the quality of the chicken at this location was great. It's in a very Korean area and it's awesome that the flavors stayed consistent. The sauces that were spicy were actually spicy and then there was some not overwhelming sweetness to ease some of the blow. Overall, a happy meal at a place that stays open really late. Also, they give you these little plastic finger condoms to help with the mess. I like the gesture but I didn't really care for them.
The food:
Crispy Marinated Wings- I was really surprised how much I enjoyed these wings. I thought these were great and I think I might have enjoyed them more than the typical go to Soy Garlic Wing. The flavor was on the sweet side but was quickly chased away with heat that was kinda addicting. The wings themselves were nicely fried and not very oily. Overall, a must order.
Pell Garlic Wings- I enjoyed the flavors on this but it was on the sweet side for me. The flavor on the garlic was nice and the fry on the wing was great. I think I would rather the Soy Garlic over this one.
Mediocre at best. This is not the chicken I remember so fondly from Korea T_T
Trying to eat here when they first opened was a nightmare. Ordering for delivery was impossible, lines were crazy for takeout and tables were always full. Maybe the whole ordeal just built up the anticipation too much? Idk but all I know is I was let down!!
The first time I went to place a takeout order, I saw the workers bickering and heard one of them say very clearly that takeout customers are not as important as the ppl dining in. Um, rude much? Everyone standing in line gave him some serious side eye. That might be true but we're not here for your opinions. Give us service!
Original garlic is EH. It is not crispy whatsoever and I'm not a fan of the sauce. The crispy with a side of spicy sauce is where its at, but be warned; it is super spicy. I was really REALLY excited for the frozen mango beers but I had to put that shit down after one sip bc it probably would've given me diabetes. Not sure if it was a mistake, but it tasted like straight up sugar with zero alcohol! Lame.
Its also a few bucks more than the Korean chicken joints in the area. Not worth it IMO.

Crispy Garlic Wings….need I say more? Yes? Okay.
Stopped by on a Friday night and was seated immediately. The service was on point. Our servers came by and asked if we wanted to sample some of the frozen beer they offer. It was actually really good. We had the mango flavor. They also stopped by and gave us a bottle of soju on the house. I think they might have had a crush on one of my coworkers OR they are just that nice! Either way, we appreciated it.
We ordered the sweet potatoes fries, the original chicken wings, and the garlic wings. There was more than enough food leftover. We would have been set with just one order of wings. The sweet potatoes fries were exactly as advertised – skinny-very thin!. The flavor on the crispy garlic wings was so damn good. It's a great spot to go with a group …they were playing some great music but it got difficult to talk to one another because it got loud. Overall I would definitely come by again!
I stumbled upon this place because I was craving Korean fried chicken… I ordered togo and it was surprisingly good. I got the half and half garlic friend chicken. The chicken was super crispy and delicious!
We called in really late at night around 1:30AM and was expecting to get turned down… but they let us put in a last minute order!!! YAY thank you guys so much!
We ordered half crispy spicy and half crispy garlic. It really hit the spot. (The spicy chicken is actually pretty spicy, so beware!) The chicken pieces were fairly large. It came with radishes but no salad, like other korean chicken places.
The place seemed kind of small, and I could see how parking could get bad- though, I don't know if it really does get bad. Props to the guy working who did a pretty thorough wipe down of the whole restaurant floor while they were closing.
I'll definitely be back!!
I've tried quite a lot of KFC in NY, London and even Seoul and overall I think the place is okay. Nothing bad but nothing to make me crave this again and make me wanting to go back for more. This place opened up near my uncle's place so I figured it would be good to try it – not many places you can walk to in the area!
Clearly this is more of a Korean drinking kind of place. It's dark with really loud music (in my 20's I would've loved it!) and I could barely read the menu. They do take away orders so best to call ahead as it's around 20 minutes to prepare your chicken. For 4 ppl, I ordered a classic whole chicken and mixed it with garlic and mild seasoned. I couldn't believe an order of fries was close to $8 – they were good but really? It also comes with an order of seasoned radish what you typically get with Korean fried chicken.
I thought the chicken was okay – very juicy but it lacked the crisp. I do like sauce but it was a bit on the soggy side which indicates it might've sat around a bit before it got to me or their fried chicken just isn't crispy enough for me. I was a bit indifferent about the sauces as well.
I can imagine if you eat there the service would be quite good. Dunno maybe give it another try again some day.
