  1. These popsicles are definitely a very unique experience! The flavors are really unique but honestly were a little weird for me. I got the spiced pear and my friend had the apricot chai and I tired both and the spices are very interesting especially for a popsicle. But either way if you are into trying adventurous foods, you will like these!

  2. If you're looking for an ice pop that's not loaded with crap and has flavors that will blow your mind – get your hands on People's Pops!  Walking around the High Line in 90+ degree weather yesterday required an ice pop stop.  My brother & I both got the Blackberry Tea (rich of blackberry and tea flavors and loaded with actual blackberries) and Bestie got the Strawberry Lime which she loved too.  I can't wait to try more flavors.  They might actually even be sold in Whole Foods so I'll be sure to pick up a box next time I'm there.  🙂

  3. Comes at $3.50 a pop and in a variety of flavors. I was excited to try some of the flavors I've seen on Yelp, but the flavors are constantly changing depending on season.

This cart is located near the start of the High Line where all the tables and food carts are. Out of the ice cream choices People's Pop was the cheapest option and seemed the most refreshing on a summer day. (There were also Melt Bakery and Gelato).

I chose to get the Blackberry Lemongrass flavor which I really enjoyed. It was a bit tart, but it wasn't overly-so. It also had blackberries in the pop which gave it a natural texture. I appreciated it because natural ingredients are what separate these popsicles from a store bought popsicle.

My friend got the Apricot Orange Blossom which I thought was interesting. It had a very floral taste, which overpowered the apricot. I only had a taste of it so I thought it was good, but couldn't really imagine eating an entire one.

One complaint I had was that it melted so damn fast. I purchased it around 9 at night so the temperature was already cooling, but the Popsicle was dripping down the stick and I had to rush to finish it.

I think certain flavors might be a hit or miss. They all sound really interesting in theory, but not sure how they all would taste. However, I would recommend getting one whenever on the High Line. Refreshing.

  4. Got a special order of spiked Popsicles at the office and ate two before I realized there was Smirnoff in them (I did read the label, but it didn't click for some reason). Anyway, the spiked sour cherry lemonade pops that I had were out of this world. Amazing, fresh ingredients and lots of pulp, which I love. Can't wait to visit them in person and try more flavors.

  5. We found these pops at the perfect time this summer, when it was hot and we were tired! I purchased a plum pop and it had pieces of plum within it. It was tangy and sweet. I really enjoyed it. My friend purchased shaved ice and he really enjoyed it. They have a huge block of ice and shave it right in front of you. It's a cute little spot

  6. September in New York City is harder than I remember. Maybe San Francisco 65 degree wheatear treats me too well.  High land is beautiful, but it's too hot today. I'm so happy I run into this people's pop. I got strawberry flavor which has real strawberries chuck in the ice pop. My friend's watermelon flavor is tasty as well and good for the summer. Original, I thought the huge piece of ice is just for the decoration, then later I realize they actually make the shaved ice out of it with any flavors you want on top. Love this place. Totally makes my day!

  7. My favorite pops in the City.  I love the variety of creative flavors!  It's the perfect, don't feel too guilty for getting, dessert on a warm summer night.

  8. Got the shaved ice, nothing really special, the flavoring was interesting but not enough to earn a higher review.
