though i don't speak spanish (the only other language i speak is the language of loooove….), i do know that "peque" means small. but let me tell you, you'll have a big huge grand old time at this place if you come!
the food is tappas, and they are delectable, delicious little dishes indeed. a great way to have a nice light meal bursting with different flavors while catching up with a friend which is exactly what i was doing. had many small bites and the deviled eggs were heavenly. (see what i did there?… i made a funny!…) . the poached shrimp, a colossal culinary treat. the sparkling white wine was the perfect way to lightly accompany things with some bubbles and bang. (because… who doesn't like a bang?…)
the place has an intimate, charming atmosphere. a touch gastro-pub but on a much smaller scale. lots of charming decor and touches like vintage plates, painted trays with important historical figures on them (like, diana ross). and simply a charming and friendly, neighborhood atmosphere with very attentive staff.
definitely a delightful place, a great spot to have a unique and fun meal.
