Should have known better and heeded fellow yelper "Lenna P's" warning and stay clear of this place! On a positive note, the folks here are super duper nice and friendly. I guess it's their strategy to draw you in hoping you'll come back. Hmm, if I shower them with kindness, maybe they won't realize what a terrible sandwich we make.
Well, why am I so pissed? If you look at the pic I posted of my ham, egg and cheese sandwich on a roll you would know why. How can you call this a sandwich??? and you have the gall to initially charge me $3.00 dollars and then collect another 50 cents because you made a mistake on the price? Does the pic look like this is worth $3.50? Me thinks not!!!!
Someone must have been sleeping or out of school during "Basic sandwich making 101" was given. It looks like these guys used a pasta machine and fed the eggs and ham thru the rollers several times. The eggs and ham were super thin. I think they probably used 1 egg to make two sandwiches.
I don't care how many times you try to fold cooked eggs and ham, it's not going to give you more food, in this case, it just enhances the illusion of a sub par sandwich!
I really wish the best for them, but if they continue on this path they won't be in business much longer.
Decent bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and coffee. And only a block away from my apartment? Awesome. Grabbing a toasted everything with lox, scallion cream cheese, and tomato has never been more convenient. I do admit that the bagels are slightly smaller than most places at the same price point, and I'm still craving more if I'm feeling particularly ravenous. But you know what they say about having eyes larger than your stomach, haha. Their sausage, egg, and cheese on a roll is pretty solid, too.
