  1. Best Paleo dinner yet with a home cook feel. I had the best slow cooked pork with two sides to accompany this master piece. A side of spinach and greens. All I have to say what Oliver said may I have some more. Delicious with a capital D. My girlfriend had the 1/4 rotisserie chicken with string beans and sweet potatoes, which I stole some bites. for good comfort food You have to try this place.

  2. Food is always fresh, hot and delicious. I especially go for the mashed sweet potatoes, so good!!
There is a lot of seating available no matter when you go and they have a little back patio section as well.

I did have to knock off a star because the service seems to always be a miss. I never got offered a refill and after your food arrives no one walks up to your table until you go ask them for the check.

  3. All I know is I was really drunk, and I got their meatloaf sandwich delivered to a bar. It was heaven.

Beer goggles aside I'd get it again.

  4. Peter's was delicious, healthy (somewhat), inexpensive, and convenient.

My gf picked up dinner here for us one night and we had the following:

    -Rotisserie chicken
    -Mac n cheese
    -Green beans
    -Brut vegetables

    We enjoyed it all.

Winter is coming and that only = one thing, more Peter's. Looking forward to trying many more options of their menu……mashed potatoes, meatloaf, cornbread….I see you baby.

  5. I've heard a lot of people say they love this place, but I have been here a few times and I would much rather go to Boston Market (sorry!)

My dad, the original foodie, loves it..but, I just can't come to terms with this place. Maybe my taste buds are weird?

  6. We stopped for lunch after having a strange experience and abandoning the wait list at Sweet Chick.  Peter's was pretty empty, but we had a bit of a wait both before ordering and before paying because of the customers ahead of us.  (You know what you're in for when someone starts to review the menu item-by-item with a child while ordering, sample several beers before committing to a pint, etc.)  One of the servers, someone who I'd guess is the proprietor, really, really hustled, though, and they were very gracious about behavior I'd personally find exasperating.

I had the 1/2 rotisserie chicken, my partner had the meatloaf.  My partner was very impressed with his meal and part of mine.  (I couldn't finish my meal by a long shot.  The portions, particularly sides, were very big.)  I wasn't impressed with the sides I tried.  The mashed potatoes were oddly smooth and I wonder how they're made.  The chicken was great – moist, tender, flavorful.  The French press coffee and tiny corn bread muffin were delicious.  We also split the apple pie, which was decent.  Worth a visit, for sure.

  7. My friend and I ordered the family style meal, since it seemed to be more food for the same price than if we had both ordered chicken dishes. The meal was HUGE–large pieces of chicken, three sides, and cornbread. We were both super hungry so we ate a lot…and I still had leftovers for two meals!

We ordered corn and mashed potatoes for sides–you can't really go wrong with these dishes, but they were simply mediocre. Our third side, mac n cheese, was probably the worst one–a little too dry and salty. Chicken was decently roasted, but nothing to die for. Overall, a simple meal that I probably could've just made at home, but at least for the portion size we both got our money's worth.

Plates/glasses/silverware were a little dirty, and the seat I was sitting on rocked around.

  8. Love the beef short ribs, which literally melts off the bone without breaking the bank! Need you another reason to come here? Hmm, okay, great selection of side dishes, making it very vegetarian friendly! Wanna get inebriated? They have beer on tap!
