  1. Have been here a couple of times now for both lunch and dinner. Every aspect of dining experience was good.

Service is extremely attentive and the waiters are knowledgable about their products.

The food itself is delicious. Their have daily dinner specials that are definitely worth a try.

The only slight complaint is about the brunch menu offering. They do have the usual croque Madame, but otherwise still a bit generic for a French restaurant. That's just a personal preference though.

  2. Cute little restaurant. A nice change for an otherwise busy area filled with chain restaurant.
I had the steak entrecote with frites. It was cooked well and the fries were super crispy.
We also got a free dessert from Yelp, which is chef's choice-white chocolate mousse. It was odd tasting but edible.
Otherwise, it was a traditional, tasty French meal.
However, nothing was so great that I would rush back.

  3. Came here for brunch and it was just fine – nothing too special about it.

11am on a Sunday and my friend and I were seated immediately which was nice. We were served some French bread which was a nice touch.

Smoked salmon Benedict – great tangy hollandaise, toasted English muffin, and a nice helping of home fries. But unfortunately my plate had the saddest thing that poached eggs can possibly have – overcooked yolks. One of my eggs was between soft and hard boiled!!! So sad :((

Our waiter was also quite slow to take our order and get us our bill. Overall – an ok place for brunch, but I wouldn't come back.

  4. Sitting in Bryant park one after noon and realized I hadn't eaten all day. It was time for happy hour so I did a quick search for a wine bar, and since I love French food this was the perfect option.

I arrived early so the restaurant was rather empty, but that meant we were well attended to, and even after the restaurant started to fill up the service did not suffer!

The happy hour deal was a few dollars off a select few beverages, but what more could you really ask for?!

I ordered the garlic hummus to start and the salmon (cooked through), over tabouleh and vegetables as my main and they were both delicious!!!!! The hummus was so tasty I almost asked for their recipe!

  5. We had a pretty decent dinner here on a Friday night. I enjoyed our appetizer, entree and dessert!  The staff were gentle and helpful. The environment is cosy and classic!

  6. Gem of a French cafe in the heart of Koreatown!
Came in just after 5 on Wednesday for a romantic dinner. Everything was first rate!
Our server was solicitous and very personable throughout our meal. The food was delicious! My Caesar salad was perfectly dressed, with crunchy homemade croutons. The French onion soup was extremely flavorful without being heavy. The chicken in pastry was full of perfectly cooked veggies and chicken in a yummy creamy sauce. The Branzino had perfectly crisped skin and was smooth and buttery. The aioli and the roasted beets and tomatoes had so much flavor! And, though we don't usually eat dessert, we had the crepe Suzette and the trio of crime brûlée s, both of which were the perfect sweet bit s to finish off our meal.
Really great experience–would definitely come back!

  7. I had a nice experience here. This place is a lil swanky, but the staff is far from posh. Our waiter was very accommodating during our lunch, and noted the portion sizes of the food we ordered to keep us from ordering too much food, which I found very thoughtful. My friend and I both ended up having the burger (there's more than one, but we had the one with the duck pâté on top), and it was totally scrumptious. It came with fries and a small side salad, all of which was also tasty. We followed our meal with a glass of champagne and the espresso crème brûlée (which came free with our first Yelp check-in), and it was so so good. I would definitely love to return to this restaurant for brunch or dinner, and explore the rest of their menu.

  8. Came here for dinner with a recommendation from a friend, and he surely didn't sway us wrong.  Located on 33rd, it was just a short walk from our hotel on 37th.  We did make reservations, and were running a tad late, and upon arriving, we were greeted promptly and very professional by the host.  We were seated in a cozy "Table for Two", and our dinner experience began..  Our server, who's name I "think" was Kouroush, and I'm sorry if that's not right, was prompt to bring us our menu's and offer us a drink.  After hearing the nightly specials, we were brought warm break (by the slice), with an oil and spices dip.  Bread was very good, soft and with the dip, was tasty.

For an appetizer, we ordered the Truffled Hummus, with wild mushrooms and olives.  A nice helping of hummus and toasted pita triangles were quickly brought to our table.  The pita was warm, and the hummus, coupled with the mushrooms and olives, really hit the spot.

For our main courses, my wife ordered the Scallop Franaise Linguini (and more on that in a moment), and I the Beef Bourguignon.  Ok, this was a home run!  The beef literally fell apart and melted in your mouth; cooked to perfection!  The gravy was on point and the veggies really made this dish.  A very nice portion for the price….. Where's the beef they ask?  Well, this dish was chock full of it…  Very happy with my meal….

Now, my wife's Scallop dish, first off, was very good as well…  The squid ink with lemon wine sauce was "Tres Bon!!"  The scallops were seasoned perfectly…  The Chorizo complimented the dish extremely well…  Now the "But" part..  The portion was very small, and for almost $30 for the meal, it really lacked the wow factor to order it again… I was disappointed with that…

While eating, you do have to ask for add'l bread, if wanted – and are quick to take your plates away (with our without food left on them), so be prepared for that…  My wife still had a piece of bread on her plate, and it was taken – without asking.  Not sure, but that may be a French thing.  However, your water glass will never be less then 1/2 full, as they are so on the ball in keeping it full for you.

To finish the meal, if you used your Yelp! app, you will be offered a free dessert… We were brought a nice helping of Espresso Creme Brulee…  Perfect ending to our meal…

So, in the end, this place is definitely a winner…  Food is very good, and priced on par with NYC prices – as long as you get bang for your buck, if you will..  Missed with the Scallop meal, but home runs with the Hummus and Beef dishes.  Our server was very polite, courteous, and prompt.  One thing we didn't like was we did feel rushed at times.

Overall, this place is very highly recommended!!  I don't give it 4 stars for nothing!!  "Merci Beaucoup" for a very nice dining experience!
