  1. I came here last month on a Monday night at 7:30pm and was surprised that it was open which is a plus. I ordered the #1 (pho….great broth), #18 (springs rolls looked a bit generic at first) and the Vietnam style beef stew with rice. It looks like curry but with real Viet flavor. We got our food rather quickly; it depends on the time of day that you come in. I will come back and try the dry noodles when I am in the area.

  2. Sunday pho brunch – we got one bowl with tendon, one with eye of round. The broth is super flavorful, somewhat darker than most, and on the salty side. Still, not bad and very satisfying.

On the other hand, the noodles, which usually take a backseat to broth, were this time notably disappointing. They were too firm, too thick, and had a stale texture – as if they had been cooked and then refrigerated overnight. Come on, Restaurant, rice vermicelli is cheap and takes half a second to cook – don't give me your dead refrigerated stuff!

Along the same lines, they cheaped out with the basil as well (only giving a TINY amount), and there wasn't much meat in either bowl.

The restaurant is one of those "proprietor is doing her accounting on a table in the back" sort of deals, but it's pretty clean otherwise (and those two things cancel out to equal exactly zero ambiance). They don't seem to have tapioca for bubble teas until later in the afternoon.

I hear the banh mi are not bad, but with Ba Xuyen (yelp.com/biz/ba-xuyen-br…) across the street, why would you bother?

  3. The pho was ok…you really need to go to CA/TX for amazing pho, apparently!  The vermicelli noodles were a bit stiff, and the meat was whatevers.  The meat inside the spring roll was strange, but the fried pork was pretty good.  The tea was also strange.  Haha.  Definitely not a legit pho spot!

  4. Simple mom and pops!  My husband and I are always down to try "hole in the wall" restaurants and this one looked like one.
There's no fancy signage or bright lights.
You get what you get = A-OK.
The soup broth is nothing out of the ordinary, but it's still OK!  We also ordered the Beef Stew which I ended up liking better than just the ordinary Beef Broth soup.
They have Boba Milk Tea!  I don't know if it's good. I didn't try it.
    Yes, They take Credit Card.

  5. Don't have much to say about this place.

The flavor for their pho is too strong or very chinese imo. I like the clear and easy taste as the ones in Chinatown Manhattan.

I haven't try their bahn mi however I would go to the real place across the street. As for a quick meal, this is definitely the place.

$7 for pho and $5 for a quick meal, I think this is a good deal of course. However I had something way better and this is just ok for me.

  6. Their delivery is awesome. I had the fish fresh roll and seafood and veggie pho.  My order arrived within 45 minutes; it was warm and fresh and came with all of the fixings (bean sprouts, basil, lime).  The shrimp was my favorite, cleaned and a great portion.

  7. The first time my family ordered from this place, they asked me if I wanted viet food.  I did, but it was too late and I was going to head to bed soon.  When the food arrived, The delicious aroma travelled from my dining room all the way to my room.  I was salivating while trying to watch Netflix.  The next day I asked them where they ordered from and cool enough, they were going to order again for dinner because they really enjoyed the food.

There's quite a few items on the menu.  I didn't know what to order.  I wanted rice, so my brother pointed to the rice plate list.   I chose the marinated beef cubes over rice.   It was good but the ratio of rice to beef cubes was not equal…I ended up with a lot of leftover rice.  I need more beef cubes!!!  The next time we ordered, I got the banh mi.  I wasn't a fan of it but granted, they're not a banh mi place, so I won't hold it against them.  I would want to try the pho, but I don't know how it'll hold up as a delivery item compared to eating it at the restaurant.

We were suppose to order from this place two Fridays ago.  We called and called.  We thought this place was busy.  When I finally got a hold of them, they said they were closed.   I stopped by this past Friday just to make sure they were opened.  The place it pretty spacious but it was empty.  There was only one person dining in.

  8. I usually rate restaurants after trying them more than once but I'll make an exception for this one. Service was fast and pleasant. The food was average but good. There really is nothing specially great about this place, but nothing bad either. I ordered pho #1 on the menu and was greeted with the typical giant bowl. I would also recommend the summer rolls.
