Since this deli is right off the bus stop and the block right off the beach, expect a crowd. Personally, I feel like I'm at a deli right across a school full of loud, screaming kids who block the doorway and stand outside the deli, which is the majority.
The customer service is a-ok. I think the guy who made my sandwich is a telepath. He said everything I wanted in my sandwich right before I even opened my mouth. There's a charge for every additional item in your sandwich, but it still comes out less than $5. The sandwich is decent, not the best I've had, but still good enough.
Divey looking bodega about a minute and a half walk from the Rockaway Park subway station.
Came here in search of lunch after a day spent riding antique subway cars. My friend's boyfriend is a train operator for the MTA and had been working a Rockaway Park shuttle job, so he directed us here when we asked what was good around the station.
Pretty standard deli fare. Didn't wander the aisles, we were on a schedule, so we beelined for the sandwich counter. I got the Bully on a hard roll, which was a hot roast beef sandwich with swiss on toasted garlic bread. Holy shit, that thing was DELICIOUS.
There's a $10 minimum on cards.
