Pier 115 Bar and Grill
“Love this place- especially on a beautiful night with that NYC view!”
“You won't find anything quite like it anywhere on the Hudson River and certainly not with the beer selection they have.”
“One of the best mac and cheeses I've ever ordered, no exaggeration; perfectly creamy and not too overpowering with the truffle.”

Edgewater is far. It's like at the edge of the water or something.
But sometimes you have to suck it up and be a good friend and trek out to Edgewater for a birthday party.
Pier 115 is cool, a bit hidden, and tricky to get to. Your cab driver will probably miss the entrance because the sign for the parking lot is tiny.
Then you drive for a long time to get to the edge of the property. Then you can walk the rest of the way.
We came early for dinner and was told the wait would be around half an hour. Then it started raining outside, so they brought everyone in and pushed everyone on the waitlist back. It got to the point where it didn't make sense to sit down and we just ordered bar food.
The margherita pizza was good. The calamari was okay. The giant pretzel with the beer cheese was yummy. The truffle tots are deeeelicious (though truffles are like cheating).
Their beer selection here is top notch. They'll have just about one of everything.
The crowd is hit or miss, even within the few hours I was there.
But hey, it was a good time.
Came here for an early dinner/drinks and sat outside on the deck. Wow! Such a beautiful view. I was highly impressed that the tables to have lunch/dinner had a canopy on top. I thought this was a great idea because not everyone loves having the sun right in their face but wants to be outdoors to enjoy a meal.
My girlfriends and I had a refreshing summery cocktail that was recommended by our waiter. Excellent choice! For dinner I had a burger cooked medium and it was really juicy.
Very happy I came back to Pier 115 and gave the outside dining experience a chance. Cannot wait to come back for another sunny day.
I have been here a few times now. First off do not come here as a walk in as you might have to wait longer then tolerable. They do accept reservations though and even during the day of.
They have seating outside but it's first come and first serve. You cannot even make a reservation for the outside. I got lucky one time and hung outside with friends, it's really an awesome view.
Surprisingly I never tried the entrees but love there appetizers m. My favorites are the muscles, margarita pizza, and the teriyaki wings. I tried the lamb lollipops as well and they were very tasty but to expensive for only 3 pieces. Drinks are pretty good I have tried a few, but usually settle for the Firestone on tap!
Overall a nice place to visit and I would recommend it for a date.
So I came here last week for a middle school get together. There was about 9 of us. This place is hidden, we passed it twice trying to get to the parking.
So we didn't plan on just getting appetizers and splitting it all but that's what we did. I'm glad tho because we had the chance to taste a little of everything. The mac and cheese, prosciutto pizza, and tuna avocado dip was SO good! The server we had was just great, she was very attentive although she was very busy on a Saturday night.
The view out back is beautiful along with the vibe and music surrounding it. This was the perfect spot for us to all reunite. I would also recommend this place as a date night but for that I'd say arrive earlier in the evening. Once it's around 11PM it turns into a lounge/club.
When returning to Jersey, I'd like to go back maybe for brunch or something on a beautiful day.
Only complaints here was trying to find the place and when I called to make reservations the first time and get further information, the lady was rude! Besides that great time and great food.
The food was excellent. My friend and ordered the scallops with the truffle Mac and cheese on the side. The scallops were cooked to perfection and sat on a bed of corn purée. The truffle
Mac n cheese was seriously to die for. Topped wish several cheese and made with an elbow macaroni m, it's truly amazing and instill definitely order it again when I go back.
Beautiful view of downtown Manhattan and is a great place to take your out of state friends!
I've been here a handful of times, mostly for drinks and for the view. The bar faces Mid-town Manhattan and if you sit outside (if you can get a seat) you'll get great views of it to your right and Lower Manhattan off in the distance.
I recently got around to trying some of the food and was rather impressed with the wood fired Margherita pizza as well as the freshness of the hummus and pita. I admit that I probably only ordered food because of the service offered outdoors. While there's no bar outside, there is service, though the waiter specifically asked if we wanted to eat as opposed to asking if we wanted another round of drinks, so the outdoor service may not be exclusively cocktail service in case you were looking to skip the food.
As for parking, you have three options. First, you can be a baller and pull up to the valet, who will park your car on the dock at the main entrance with all the other Maseratis, Aston Martins, and Ferraris, but this option is stilly. Why? Because it's $5 whereas your second option is to park just before the main entrance in the second tier lot for free. You then have about a 2 minute walk. Or, you can do what I do and just park in front of the building just as you turn off River Road. This option leaves you with about a 3-4 minute walk.
The only reason I'm stuck at 4 stars is because of the bar service. It's always so slow and they take forever to close out your tab.
Great place for beers. 125 total with 30 on draft. Brooklyn Brewery oyster, Omegang varieties, pretty much every Belgian and top flight global beers are here. Can't beat it. $8 for good drafts. Margherita pizzas are $14, not the best but ok. The views hovering against the NYC skyline are to die for. Unobstructed views of NYC that are amazing. Tons of tv screens, can't count them all but everything is on a screen. I'm going back but not thrilled with $5 valet charge in Edgewater of all places. I lived here when it was a one-lane road and not impressed with that.
Came here on a sunny midday for drinks. It was a nice, chill spot with cool views of the Hudson and the Manhattan skyline. The drinks were priced reasonably which is always a plus.
