  1. This was my first meal after moving around the corner from Pizza Boss. Delivery of 2 medium pies and 4 cans of soda ran me $48 and change before tip… yikes! Minus one star for the price. I can undoubtedly find equally delicious pizza in the area for a fraction of the price!

As for the second star? After giving my CC info over the phone and authorizing a payment including tip, they charged my card a slightly higher amount than what I authorized. The overcharge is nominal, but I hate when establishments charge an amount I didn't authorize. Pizza Boss later explained it was the way their system was set up. If they had told me this before they charged my card, I couldn't have cared less. But I hate when places don't say anything and think the customer just won't notice or care. On top of not informing me ahead of time, they also didn't give me a receipt. It wasn't until I was looking over my CC activity online that I caught this.

Anyway, so the manager was nice enough to tell me he'd refund the overcharged amount… but then he never did. Hence, the second deducted star.

Overall, delicious pizza, horrible prices, shady business practices. I probably won't give this place any more business.

  2. Good basic pizza –  like what you would get from your Brooklyn/Queens/Staten Island neighborhood pizza parlor.

They have a fairly large assortment of pizza toppings but no garlic knots. The services friendly and delivery is fast.

  3. Really good buffalo chicken slice! All guys that work here are always really cool too especially Damien. I go here now at least twice a week for the awesome buffalo chicken pizza and friendly/fast service!

Oh they have a chicken bacon ranch slice that I'm dying to try too.

  4. Had a pepperoni and cheese pizza here. Gotta say it delivered. I'm more of a sauce guy and the sauce was rich and there was enough of it. The cheese and toppings were solid also. The only down side was my boy decided to use my shirt as a napkin. It's not there fault that he can't hold his liquor.lol

  5. Good pizza.  Not necessarily what I think of when I think "NY pizza" though.  Go here if you want a good slice on the go, but if you're looking for authentic New York pizza, keep looking (though from what I'm told that's slim pickins on the UES).

  6. I love the pizza at this place! I've always ordered Seamless from here, but their pizza is still amazing! The only time I had a hard time with them was during a snow storm and they didn't have the pizzas I ordered so the owner gave me a hodgepodge of whatever they had left. I wasn't a fan of their white pizza or eggplant pizza, but that had less to do with them and more to do with me not liking those pizzas in general.

I usually order a 10' pizza and I love that the crust is so thin. The toppings are always fresh, especially the vegetables. The price is great, for a plain 10' it is less than $8, with 3 toppings, tip, and tax, I ended up paying around $13. VERY well priced for delicious pizza!

If you're ever looking for hot pizza on a cold night, I highly suggest ordering from these guys.

  7. I was pretty impressed with Pizza Boss. It was really really flavorful and delicious without relying on salt (as other pizzerias do).

They're on seamless, so that allows me to avoid unwanted human interaction, though I have to deduct points for the sloppy delivery. My pepperoni slid all over the place, and there was some drama in that they didn't have the Perrier we ordered in stock, and didn't tell us, so the deliveryman was confused, and we had to call, etc… it was annoying. But that won't deter me from ordering again this weekend.
