Pizza Haven
“I've only tried Pizza Haven and Grandpa's Pizza so far, and so far Pizza Haven is winning.”
“Inwood doesn't have many pizza options, but even if I was in a more pizza-centric area, I would still order form Pizza Haven.”
“It arrives slightly limper delivered the 2 miles to my house, but a couple of minutes in the oven solves that.”

In this hood, Pizza Haven comes in second to Palace Pizza Parlor on Dykeman (the best pizza in the city IMO). I'm not saying that this is a 3 star pizza place in the city, but in this neighborhood, it's a 3.
I grew up on this pizza. For 30+ years not much has changed. Pizza Haven offers solid NY stye pizza. Is it the best out there? Certainly not, but it always satisfies for a quick slice on the go.
This place is decent, I don't get all the bad reviews.
It's a great local Pizza spot, AND they also deliver.
Good service and good food.
Sounds good to me!
It's been there forever !
Everyone looks for different qualities when it comes to their "perfect" pizza. My perfect slice of pie, is when you hold it by the crust and it holds straight as cardboard would.
If you can give me a crisp crust, I'm an immediate fan. Pizza Haven did just that. The location can't be beat either as it is right across the street from my apartment and of course they are open super late.
For $4.75, I got a perfect-for-me slice of cheese pizza and a Gatorade. As mentioned, the crust was perfectly crisp. There was the right amount of sauce and it was fresh and tomatoey. The cheese was melty and got those delicious crispy brown spots. Topped it with a little crush red pepper flakes, and i was in a state of zen as I chowed down while walking up my usually dreadful 5 flights of stairs.
Totally a fan for this great slice of pie in my new hood.
