Pizza Italia
“Ive witnessed the transformation of Chelsea and know how difficult it is to find a decent Chicken Parmigiana Hero.”
“Good crust to it (to hold the weight of the toppings as the ricotta/spinach matched me in terms of weight).”
“Go here if you're in the area, want cheap food, want a place lots of seating so you actually have a chance of sitting down, want good pizza, great garlic knots, and if you're in the mood to be nice.”

It was 11:20pm and I was starving, and most places stopped delivering at 11:30. I ordered a caesar salad (very good) and a personal pizza with mushrooms. I lived on that pizza for like 48 hours (there's only NUTS in the mini bar, OK?) so yes, I back it.
What can I add about their fantastic grandma's slice that has not already been said? Just exquisite.
You must get the Grandma's Slice. One of the single best slices of pizza I've had in New York City.
Pizza Italia is a perfect spot for late night munchies, sober or not. It's a staple for me and I hope it soon is for everyone else.
A greasy feast of pizza. So much oil and cheese, topped high with sausage and pepperoni. Garlic knots on the side. Nom. Okay.
Definitely my favorite pizza in the area. The guys there are always nice and the pizzas are always on point. Not a fan of the baked ziti… it seemed to be under cooked both times i came but I don't have one negative thing to say about the pizza.
I actually pass by 3 (1) other places to come here when I want a slice
Fast food pizza at its best. The Grandmas Pizza is my go-to.
Great dough, fresh ingredients, and down to earth staff. Totally charming unpretentious feel.
**Note $8 Minimum credit charge. Two slices and a drink, depending on the pizza.
Solid 11:30PM pizza! And not in a bad way. Exactly what we were looking for- some honest NY-style pizza and a place to sit and chat after an evening of dinner and drinks. Fatass status, yes, we are.
The ricotta/spinach pizza is fantastic. Also, I ordered a pepperoni, a winner.
Good crust to it (to hold the weight of the toppings as the ricotta/spinach matched me in terms of weight).
Looking for something to eat; wandered into this place by chance and was not disappointed. Definitely a cut above the average NYC pizza and far superior to those abominations Ray's etc. Pizza was very, very good, their grandma slice was one of the best I have ever had. Someone at our table had a sausage roll and that was quite tasty. Prices are very reasonable. I would definitely stop by next time I'm in the area and give it a try if you are.
