Eat in … one dollar best slices in the City. Tiny place, with really great pizza.
Home delivery, more money, but worth it. Very fast. Very polite.
$2 for 2 cheese slices and a soda. The slices are decent sized slices and service is fast and the people there are cool.
I live nearby so its definitely go to to grabbing a quick bite
Cheese pizza is pretty good, good cheese sauce ratio and add a little red pepper and cheese and you're good to go!
Pizza King!!! Oh how I loved coming back to the hotel for a week and having Pizza King there to great me and welcome me home.
It's so nice to have your neighborhood pizza place there to serve you hot cheese and bread filled with calories and goodness.
There is this one girl who was consistently there, and she was always very friendly and cool. I wish I had a Pizza King in my neighborhood back in Chicago. Murray Hill, you have a nice gem.
But there's a LOT of places like Pizza King throughout NYC. This pizza place isn't particularly remarkable, but they make their money on their convenience and consistent quality.
The selection is great. Get your spinach pizza, sausage, pepperoni, everything pizza!
I really like Pizza King. The only thing I wish they had is more sitting space.
Pizza King is located near a university and a high school and has become a favorite for cheap eaters like me. This place used to be Pizza Mercato, but has now been renovated. The plain cheese slices are now only a dollar and they have an ongoing $3 deal which gives you two slices and a canned beverage. The only drawback to Pizza King is its tiny size. There is probably only enough seating for 6 people on stools.
As for the pizza itself, it is a real New York slice, unlike the many 99 cent pizza joints you find around the city these days. This is confirmed by the size, taste and texture. Because of the quality, I would recommend this place for the cash-strapped or for anyone looking for good value.
