“$2.25 will get you a regular slice here, and I appreciate the fact that there wasn't grease pooling and dripping off the slice.”

“They are soft, has a little crunch, and with the right amount of powder sugar it is just tantalizing but even that they will mess up sometimes (SMH!)”

“I tried the buffalo chicken pizza with garlic knots and I was happy to admit that both were very delicious.”

  1. I was in Brooklyn for the Nets game at the Barclays center and wanted a quick snack before I went in and got an order of zeppoli, it was decent, but nothing close to the ones you get at the street fairs which come out fresh and juicy.  Plenty of seating and other things to choose from such as pasta, pizza etc.

  2. This was my spot for Italian ices for years, but they also make a decent slice. There is nothing fancy about it at all, but the pizza looked fairly fresh. There is plenty of seating  and its a good place for a quick cheap bite.

  3. I enjoyed the pizza here, Ive come here often and it's my mom's favorite so I come here more than expected. To me, it is just a typical pizza joint but the pizza is a good size and thickness, not too doughy and just the right amount of crunch.

There was a nice variety of pizza and pizza toppings. My son got a beef patty with cheese which was pretty good too, despite that fact they are pre-made and bought by the store. I also had the opportunity to try the chicken roll which is usually the benchmark for pizza joints for me. The chicken roll was fresh, tasty and the sauce was good….gotta have the extra sauce, without that, just isn't the same.

** Liked the fact that fresh basil was available, would have been better if it was a complimentary topping as is the garlic, pepper, and cheese.

  4. Sometimes you just want a slice that serves no other purpose than to fill those hunger pangs.  This is where you can get that slice!

  5. The perfect crisp to the crust is what does it here. It wasn't so crispy that you felt like you were eating sauce and cheese on a cracker, but there was definitely a crunch to it. $2.25 will get you a regular slice here, and I appreciate the fact that there wasn't grease pooling and dripping off the slice. The cheese was stringy enough to deliver that ooey gooey feeling, yet not so much that you got it all over your face. The sauce is decent.

There's plenty of seating in the back, the guys behind the counter seem to be really nice, and you have your choice between water, soda, and even beer if you want a drink with your pizza. I just moved into the neighborhood and I could definitely see this being a place I'd order a pie from whenever the urge struck.

The pizza's good, but it's not mind-blowingly good. I've had slices from other establishments with a more distinct and flavorful sauce. Still, this is definitely a great place to have nearby!

  6. Wow. Hands down the best pizza in Brooklyn…. in the boroughs!!!

Thin crust, just enough sauce and cheese, hot….BLISS!

I should had just bought a pie! IT WAS THAT GOOD.

It is a no frills, local pizzeria.  Enjoy!!
